Q: I have these holdings in a TFSA shown in descending %. First four at 15% each. Next three at 10% each. Adding $7000. Any additions to what I have? Any new ones? I appreciate the %'s are personal choices ( Part of let the winners run camp). Would you advise trimming?
Have good day. Thanks.

Q: Hello Peter,
It appears that Knight Therapeuctics is testing ones patience for long term investing. Do you think it is worth a hold given the lack of performance for a long time? I am bit puzzled as sometimes when there is no attention paid to a stock, it is a good time to buy if the leadership and fundamentals appear to be intact. Please advise. Also, Nuvei seems to be developing more partnerships. Is it worth adding to a full 5 percent position as it has settled into the 80s range.. Thank you for the service.

Q: Good morning, I have 32 positions spread between the two TFSA's that I manage. I'd like to get that down to 25. The above are holdings that have fallen to less than half positions and I'm wondering if you could suggest 6 or 7 for removal. Also are there any that you would add to in order to bring them up to half positions. Secondly, without knowing my weightings, do you have a suggested sector or two for this years TFSA contribution?

Q: Howdy to all you Santa's helpers, thanks for all your wise council.
My question today is: i recently sold GUD after a long hold and so am looking for another healthcare replacement. I know you have reported on NBLY and AND and so wondering which of the two you would recommend to replace GUD. Or, do you have a better recommendation?
Thanks to all

Q: Is there a reason the share price of GUD responded so strongly to this news?
"Knight Therapeutics Enters into Exclusive Supply and Distribution Agreement with Incyte for Tafasitamab and Pemigatinib in Latin America"
Is this the first agreement between GUD and Incyte?
Thanks!

Q: Hey Team,
I realize you have moved on from GUD, and I can understand, although I feel that you may have given up just before the value realization.
Am I reading their statements correctly in that they have over $5 per share on just current assets, and another $5 in long term assets?
This is on an arguably improving landscape for the company over the next 12 months?
Seems way too cheap to ignore, when fundamentals have turned positive, no?

Q: Now that Knight is no longer part of the BEPORT is 5i looking at a sector replacement and if so what is it? If not, since we are not restricted by borders, should we look to the U.S. for a sector weight?
Q: You guys are the masters of understatement. Better use? No kidding. LOL.
"We think the cash could be put to better use and will be selling the full position as we begin to re-position the portfolio for next year."

Q: hello 5i:
We've held GUD since 2014; one of the very few losers in a mostly, 5i recommended and diverse portfolio. Its shrunk to a less than 1% holding. Would you now be fine letting this go to add to a 1.5% position in WELL, realizing there may be a valuation difference? Thanks for your good work over the years. hello 5I:
just asked this question and should have included other health care holdings so you could assess properly. MRK, ABBV and VEEV in equal amounts. WELL at a smaller position. Please include this info with my previous question when answering.
thanks

Q: GUD's Statement of Cash Flows for the 3 months ended June 30, 2021 shows a 'Purchase of intangible assets' of $217 million, but I could not find an explanation for this significant investment in the MD&A. I would appreciate your comments on this item. Thank you. Edward

Q: Hello,
I am trying to understand "hidden? value" from your viewpoint vs out of favor with the market.
REAL.to has lost close to 60% of it's value in the past year while many other assets have been rocketing up creating a massive opportunity cost for holding it(with no dividend). A month ago REAL was #10 in your top 10 in response to a questioner.
In the case of GUD, it seems the reputation of JG creates the expectation of an encore performance and periodic insider buys, and micro press releases temper the stock price decline from no real news.
Are there any tangible/intangible factors that would compel someone to make a contrarion investment in REAL at this point?
Thank you

Q: Assuming you could keep track of N companies, would it not make sense to own as many as possible if business fundamentals are good, the price is reasonable, and you have the funds? This is compared to trying to select which specific company to add to or purchase from a basket of options. My understanding is that often a few really great companies can end up carrying your portfolio and make up for the losers (I believe this was from Peter Lynch's book). The reason I'm asking is because I look at more volatile growth stocks like APPS, AT, NVEI, EGLX, TOI and GUD , and keep asking myself that question. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
