Q: Hi, I’m looking to create a portfolio of dividend growth stocks split over Canada and Us stocks with 10-12 names. Can you make a recommendation on the names you would use?

What are your favorite Canadian and international energy companies with direct exposure to the commodity price. A growing dividend, even modest, is preferred.

Q: Nat Gas:
I hold ~1% each of ARX and TOU. Also, ~5% XOM, which is also a major gas producer.
I don't have much confidence in this liberal gov't's promises of gas development. Would you recommend a US gas producer, and if so, which one?

Q: Good morning, I am presently down about 30% and wondering whether to just let it be, and wait for a comeback at some point, or sell and deploy funds elsewhere, and if so, what might you suggest as an alternative, keeping in mind that if I sell and invest elsewhere, I would need to make about 50% just to get back to breakeven on my original OXY investment. Q: Similar to my last question, but looking to the US, I am interested in having a group of companies that are great companies and want to develop a grouping of these -whether they have a dividend or not, as part of my portfolio. Companies that have a competitive advantage, great leadership, quality assets, not too high debt and continue to execute with continuous improvement. Could you give me what you consider to be the best Great US Companies for each sector or industry. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i team.

I'm currently overweight Suncor, have a full position in Whitecap and less roughly 2/3 position in Freehold Royalties. I'm thinking of lightening up on Suncor and putting the dollars into a USA producers. Would you please list your top three USA domiciled oil and/or gas producers, why you prefer them, whether you would trade Suncor for any of them?

Q: I have several 'Growth' companies which have grown quite large in both Cdn and US markets (Thanks). While I plan to let winners run, I am looking to take some capital out of those, and shift to areas of the market which are trading below their historical averages. Could you suggest some areas of both US and Canada to look for those areas? (Specific companies or ETFs which would target this both welcome)

Q: CVX has been dropping since 2022. Is there a problem here? XOM and SU (I hold all three) have been increasing. Should I drop CVX? I have at least a five year window, 78 year value investor who can wait for a turn around.
