Q: In our “balanced portfolio” we have decided to go to US stocks for our healthcare allocation. Currently holding MDT, VEEV and GH. Are these reasonable holdings? We like a concentrated portfolio so only have these 3 as our healthcare stocks. Would you suggest any changes or potentially a new 4th position? We are buy and hold growth investors looking at greater than 10 years until we would require these funds.

Q: Hello Peter and Staff
So I am a slow learner and a bad listener.....in order to add AND to my health care basket, Chartwell is gone.......I did not feel like adding $ for $ so have some of CSH proceeds left to top up a position or 2 in my basket....Please list 1, 2 ,3 in priority of your preferences above and if you see any you would not advise be kept, please say so and why.

Q: I own MDT and ABBV in the Health Care Field. I am thinking of selling MDT and buying DIS. I know these are in completely different sectors but was wondering if there would be more growth in DIS going forward?

Q: Is Merk unjustifiably cheap or is it a value trap? Which of MRK, JNJ, MDT (or other suggestion) would you recommend as a buy and forget cornerstone healthcare holding for someone looking for long term capital appreciation and dividend growth. My only other healthcare position is ABBV. Please also explain the rationale. Thank you!

Q: I am currently looking to rebalance my portfolio taking into account the latest volitilty. I am a long term investor and fairly well diversified. I do need to top up in a few places. Q: In the U.S. part of my non registered Account I have a small gain on LSCC and am thinking of selling and purchasing one of the other 5 U.S. stocks. Could you rate the 5 options I have listed with your opinion of each (best first). Would you agree with my selling of LSCC and purchasing the best of the 5 options I have listed or should I continue to hang on to LSCC.

Q: I just sold a US stock that represents about 5% of my RIF and about 23% of my US holdings in the RIF. Income is obviously OK but some growth would also be welcome. Do you have any suggestions.

Q: I have quite a few companies that trading well above
There normal p/e
Like Medtronics ,I’m starting to think
Selling the lofty ones and sit in a little more cash
And wait for all this to normalize
The example I’m using, over 10 years is around
25 p/e and now trading at 58 p/e
That info comes from Rbc investing
What are your thoughts
