Q: These are my stocks in my TFSA as of today. A full position is $11K. All performing well, thank you for that 5i. My thought for this year's contribution I would add to GSY and KXS. Also thought of replacing EQB with ATCO. May I have your input please. Thanks in advance David

Q: Can you suggest something to add to my RIFF. I am taking a minimum out as I don't need it but have some cash I'd like to invest for at least 5 years.

Q: Hi
I hold all these stocks in a non registered account, to take advantage of their dripping and tax advantages. I have the $ to buy another holding. What top 3 companies do you suggest to add to this mix for a long term hold, my goal is the highest dividend possible, with as little risk as possible. Also, do you have any issues with the compaies already held? I also have other growthier holdings in my tfsa as well as etfs for US and International exposure in my RRSP.
thank you
Michele

Q: Hi 5i
I wish to add these 3 to my TFSA or non registered account. Which would be better in a TFSA or does it not matter? In which order would you buy at this time?
Thanks for all you do
Gary

Q: Hi 5i,
Hold the above companies in my TFSA ($30,000). % holdings around 10% for each, except CAE, OSS TRI, AD which are 3% - 5%.

Looking to deploy $5,000. Looking at d-un, dir-un, Telus & Fortis.

Safety and Income preferred, as in mid 60's. I would certainly welcome any other suggestions.

Thank You.

Q: I'm looking at adding a blue chip company and I'm down to either TRI or FTS. My main emphasis is growth in the next three years and view dividend yield as a "fringe benefit". Since TRI have a major run up in the last year or so, can that momentum be sustained, hence FTS may be a better choice at this juncture? What's your view? Are there other names I should consider as well? Thanks.

Q: The rich get richer, which is why David Thomson is increasing his stake in TRI without lifting a finger, just like Buffet. The weekend Financial Post covered the controversial area of why companies love to do stock buybacks and why it is not really in shareholders' interests. The above stocks were mentioned for Canada.

I'd be interested in knowing which 5i portfolio companies are most active in buybacks and which take no part among all the portfolios.

Q: Further to my prior question about allocating stocks to multiple sectors, how would you assign the following? I know this is 'not a science', but I think it will give me a better idea of my sector distribution.
TCL.A Cons Disc:Industrial
CCL.B Cons Disc:Industrial
NFI Cons Disc:Industrial
MG Cons Disc:Industrial
LNR Cons Disc:Industrial
TFII Cons Disc:Industrial
EIF Industrial:Financial
AQN Utilities:Energy
EMA Utilities:Energy
MX Mining:Energy
T Telecom:Healthcare
PSK Mining:Financial
TRI Financial:Cons Disc

If you think that other sectors should be included here, please add them.
Thanks again, and please deduct questions as you see fit.

Q: What is your opinion of these equities which I have held in a well-diversified portfolio for a number of years?

Q: Good Afternoon,

I am looking at raising some cash. Of the above, which 3 would be your sell preference, in order of 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

Thank you.
