Q: Hi, my question is; if one is to by today in the crypto space knowing all are volatile but looking for maximum return during this cycle with a long term hold. best opportunity to least
Q: As of today do you consider each of these a buy/hold /sell?
Would you start a new position in any of these or wait till the market settles somewhat?
Q: Tom Lee was on CNBC today and stated that Bitcoin may have bottomed this past weekend because it reached technical of US$77,000 and sufficient time has passed since October 10 deleveraging event (time and price have aligned for crypto to be bottoming). If Tom Lee's forecast is correct, what CAD or US stocks would benefit from Bitcoin run past previous highs ? I own GLXY. Is this my horse or are there better stocks ?
Q: Capital One just announced that it will acquire the fintech company Brex for $5.15 billion. My understanding is that this price is significantly lower than Brex’s valuation about a year ago.
1. Does this acquisition make COF shares more or less attractive as a buy right now?
2. How would you rate COF following this announcement and after it missed expectations in its January 23 earnings report?
3. What do you see as the key risks to the stock beyond political noise?
4. If you would rate COF a buy after all the recent updates, your rationale please?
5. How do you view COF’s business model and competitive moat relative to peers, such as American Express (AXP)?
6. What do you have for *current* (post earnings. release today) for forward P/E and PEG? Debt levesl if acquisition goes through ?
Your thoughts on COF in light of the latest news would be much appreciated, thank you. :ao: .
Q: Hi,
We own no crypto stocks. I feel that we should have some exposure in our portfolio. Now there has been a bit of a pull back… I cannot decide on what combination of stocks or ETF’s (cnd or US$) to buy in this sector for total portfolio weight of approximately 4-5%. What 3 combination of companies and/or ETF would you buy for a balanced exposure to the sector.
Thanks for all that you do!
K.
Q: I hold these in registered accounts and am down approximately 20% for each stock. For a 2-3 year time frame would you buy/hold/sell at this time?Would your answer change if asked in January?
Thank you very much
Following my SEPT 30th question and joining portfolio analytics I’ve embarked on my retooling. Following some of the great suggestions, still entering haha.
Q: what is the best way to invest in stable coins ? does the genius act(USA) and the proposed similar legislation by carney 's liberals have any positive material effect on companies in Canada and the USA and if so what companies do you like? thanks Richard
Q: I hold a 3.55% position in COIN which has a nice gain so far. Recently I started a position in GLXY which has a weight of less than 1% and now trading at a loss. Is it a good idea to continue holding both? Should I persist with GLXY or go ahead with some tax loss selling.
Q: I would like to initiate a position in these stocks.Do you consider them each as buys, and if so,in what order would you purchase and at what price?
Thank you
We are perplexed on which payment stocks to purchase. FOUR seems to be somewhat of a disappointment so far, though many have fallen from grace this year and a path to digital payments through crypto looks promising though we are not sure how this will shake out.
Can you comment on the best way to capitalize on stocks in this sector and rank the top 3 payment stocks (in order please) to hold for 5 years or longer.
There is a lot of noise about Stablecoins, gold, US debt reduction and opportunities in crypto coins to take advantage of servicing transactions. IF Stablecoins are rolled out by the US gov't, how will this affect GLXY?
Do you have Crypto suggestions if Stablecoins are backed by the US gov't? Most of this is above our heads but Trump knows how to go bankrupt and make a fortune.
