Q: The development of drones for war time use has exploded. It seems that domestic uses will also now come into play. Can you suggest companies to invest in at the forefront of this burgeoning technology

Q: Can you list companies that are in the field of anti-drone activity or defending civilian areas against drones? Is this an investable theme or have the moves of the above companies already reflected some of what we are seeing in the news from Europe? Are there any companies that deal specifically with countering this threat and if so, are they already overbought? Hoping for niche companies in the specific area described but if the listed stocks address this, please explain how and if that makes them a buy. If someone is developing or has great tech to handle this issue it would seem they are primed to get lots of orders. Thanks

Q: Can you please compare and contrast these two companies? KTOS has great momentum which makes sense. AVAV had the same until its capital raise a week or so ago. If someone wanted a growth tilted investment in the defence sector with an eye to Trump's bill would you choose one over the other and why? What would your entry point be for both?

Q: Can you analyze AVAV as a potential investment? Look at growth, moat, competitors and catalysts if you don't mind. The stock has had a good run but it seems to have potential with all of the new NATO spending that is projected. In addition, please suggest any other companies that you more strongly believe in as likely to benefit from military spending with an emphasis on smaller companies with higher risk, higher upside. Q: Hi,

Canada, and other countries, are apparently going to reinforce considerably their investment in defense. In that perspective which of the above companies do you consider, in order most promising for strong growth in the next five years ? And which one would you buy for a good diversification within the sector ? Any other companies not mentionned ?

Q: Further to Stuart’s recent question on European defense spending, I’m also interested in the security theme. I recently purchased Axon in the belief police spending will be ramped up going forward. Do you have some suggestions for me to investigate in the areas of security/defense for the following: police, computers, military. Perhaps a couple of companies in each area as your top choices. I realize you have covered companies such as Raytheon extensively through the years but this theme hasn’t been on my radar until recently. Unfortunately, it seems to be increasingly significant going forward.

Q: Renowned bear David Rosenberg says in today's Globe that he is positive on defense stocks. No individual stocks are mentioned in the article. Given the state of the world i have been watching a few defense stocks for some time but haven't pulled the trigger. Two of interest are KTOS and AVAV. Both are experiencing sales growth but neither are profitable. Do you see them turning a profit in the near term and which one looks better? Thanks.
