Q: I am planning to invest $5k for the long term (10 years) in Ethereum/crypto-related stocks. This represents 1% of my portfolio.

Should I split my money equally between COIN, GLXY, ETHQ/ETHA and BMNR?

If not in what order should I buy these stocks? Are there any that you would not consider?

Q: Recently, the tech market has been booming. During this period, I bought several volatile, high-flying stocks to capture the thrill of the momentum. Each position is relatively small—only about 0.5% to 1% of my portfolio. Despite that, they’re performing exceptionally well. I purchased them less than a few weeks ago, and I’m already seeing a total gain of around 20%.

My question is: are these stocks worth holding for the long term? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Also, could you rank the potential and strength of these six companies: CoreWeave, Galaxy, Circle, Bitmine, Monday.com, and AST SpaceMobile? Thank you.

Q: Can I get your updated view and opinion on SBET. I have a small position and down 15% and would like to add more. Already own a good sized position in GLXY which has done very well. I understand the volatility and risks in crypto. Can you comment on this recent news of SBET increasing their share offering and also the plan of tokenizing their stock. Do you see this as positive news and do you see more upside in ETH going forward? Also I think before you mentioned you favor SBET over BMNR, is that still the case today? Thank you!

Q: Hello,
The news release as of yesterday Sept 22, 2025, , "BitMine sells approximately 5.22 million shares at $70.00 per share and approximately 10.4 million warrants with a strike price of $87.50

BitMine common share sale is a 14% premium to the closing price of BitMine Common Stock on September 19, 2025

BitMine remains supported by a premier group of institutional investors including ARK's Cathie Wood, MOZAYYX, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera, Kraken, DCG, Galaxy Digital and personal investor Thomas "Tom" Lee to support BitMine's goal of acquiring 5% of ETH"

Why would institutions pay a premium when they can simply buy it at market price for less than the $70 offering.. is it because at the market price which is less than $70, they won't get as many shares? I would appreciate your thoughts..

Q: Good evening,

With the understanding that the above equities are to be considered high risk and somewhat speculative, in what order would you buy these (please exclude any names that you would not consider buyable)?

Are any of them particularly compelling at this time?

I already own a fair bit of IBIT and ETHA, as well as COIN, HOOD, GALAXY. but looking to add a little spice to the portfolio.

Thank you,

Q: This Tom Lee run company is modeled after Mr Saylor's MSTR but is based on ether instead of bitcoin. I own a small position in BMNR which though volatile is currently up from my entry price. You explained the value reduction of MSTR in a recent question based on competition. You referred to the investment approach in its current circumstances as "Ponzi-like." Could you explain your view on BMNR and whether it too has a Ponzi-like set up. Also if you held this equity would you sell and instead hold an ether ETF as a "safer" way to invest in ether as you recommended regarding MSTR and investing in bitcoin or is there a distinction between MSTR and BTMR such that you would continue to hold the latter. Appreciate your response.

Q: Hi 5i,

Thanks for the podcast section on crypto. Very much enjoyed it.

If you could only buy and hold two of these for a med to long term, which would you choose? (Any particular reasons why?)

TIA!

Q: Hello Chris/Michael:

Kudos for your YouTube podcast. Great data dense presentation with some actionable ideas! I posed this question on YouTube comments section. Hee it is for all of us, the subscribers.

If 1% position is a reasonable position to take in Cryptos, what would be the "intra group" percentages for ANY investor. I know percentages are personal. Here it is about slicing that 1 % ! More in the ETF than in the "miners?

Also, I remember Peter mentioning that Tom Lee is one of his favourites and he follows him. I don't recall Chris mentioning Tom Lee's Bitmine?

Best wishes to these young men!
Many thanks!

P.S. My Twitter/YouTube handle dovetails nicely with Chris's percentage based approach! My handle is 3P Investor. Investing is P for Personal, P for Percentage based and P for Portfolio/Probability. The three legs of a Financial stool. :)

Q: Hello,
If interests rates go down in the US, will these speculative stocks get hit hard, especially circle internet group as it makes money on the treasuries? Thanks for your help.

Q: Hello
I understand these are speculative plays. Any idea why bmnr is surging daily whereas sbet surges than drops. From my understanding , sbet keeps issuing shares and as a result is not doing as well. I thought issuing shares to buy more ether was the goal.. i would appreciate your comments.

Q: I’m looking to invest in SbET or BMNR. Any preference between the two? Are you able to compare the premium of market cap to ethereum owned to that old MSTR which hacks been around longer but obviously bitcoin focused

Q: Hello,
I know you have answered many questions on this subject but can i get more clarity please? First, are you able to add the symbol BMNR to your list. I chose SBET as you have that in your list. When i look at price of bitcoin for last 5 years, it has gone up alot. However, MicroStrategy's return over the same period is much higher (it holds bitcoin). How could the difference be so diverse. I am wondering if i should go with sbet and bmnr (equal amounts) as opposed to Ethereum etfs.. Please comment and if you feel the etf route is best , what are the elf's you suggest in cdn $ for bitcoin and Ethereum?
