Q: Sorry for asking another tech ranking but I read a question about some of your best ideas currently and I want to mesh with my current holding. Can you please rank the above stocks for purchase/hold today?

Q: I have 4 stocks doing very well in my TFSA, MSFT, BRK.B, VI and APPL. Recently I noted that COSTCO is doing very well and I am considering adding it to my TFSA but am out of space. 1) do you think that adding Costco to my TFSA is a good idea and 2) if so which of the my current stocks above should I replace?

Q: When I retired at age 60, I was told that I should drawdown my RRSP as much as possible before I started to collect CPP and OAS at 70. I have been doing this, but because my highest growth stocks (MSFT and COST) are in my RRSP, there has been no drawdown.

I know the general rule of thumb is to place your US dividend stocks in your RRSP. However, in my case I think I would be better off holding MSFT in my TFSA, and COST in either my TFSA and/or taxable account.

I would lose 15% of the MSFT dividend in my TFSA, but the dividend is so small, it doesn't matter.

COST is a little different because of the special dividend. If I put COST in a taxable account, I could recover the withholding tax when I file the following year although I would have to submit a T1135 if over 100K. But given that I anticipate most of the returns to be from price appreciation rather than dividends, it would be better in my TFSA up to my limit, with the remainder going into my taxable account.

Does this make sense? Thank you!

Q: Hello, I recently sold my rental property in 2022, and I now have funds sitting in the bank, earning interest. My ultimate goal is to invest this money wisely and create a portfolio that can serve as an inheritance for my loved ones. I am currently in the process of assembling a collection of high-quality stocks.

For me, the presence or absence of dividends is not a decisive factor when selecting stocks. Could you kindly recommend two top-performing stocks in each sector of the global market? These core holdings will play a crucial role in achieving my long-term financial objectives.

Q: I own 3 of the big 7, Apple, Amazon and Nvda and manage the positions for weighting. I would like to own Microsoft and/or Google. There's been a lot of buzz lately about OpenAI/ChatGPT developing a new search engine that will compete with Googles. Also this will be partly functional inside Bing. Given the Google relies on highly Ad revenue, expecting users to scroll through searches, while this new engine would potentially by-pass this Ad revenue clicking, do you see this a game changing to Google?

Using round numbers NVDA share price is currently about 100 times revenue. For comparison purposes MSFT is 15 times revenue and AAPL is 7.5 times revenue. I understand NVDA has more growth than MSFT and AAPL but what am I missing here?
