Q: With the quick change in the market, I feel like an idiot. On the days when things were tanking I was very nervous and didn't really add to any positions. When a growth stock goes from very high to so low it is hard to add more or start a new position. Any wisdom on this? Five that corrected a lot and are now catching a bid. What is your order of purchase for TFSA?

Q: Hello 5i Team,

Following up on your answer to Sandra's question on April 11th re: beaten down U.S. software stocks, could you please rank the top 5 choices in order for a 3+ year hold.

Also, where would CSU rank if it was included as a 6th stock in this list?

Thanks in advance for your always helpful advice!

Q: Hello Team 5i & Everyone,

Would you mind providing a list of 10 American software stocks that are beat down because of AI fears that you think have good potential for a real recovery at some point in the future?

IGV seems to be holding up okay for now with the S&P500 in a downtrend, I assume because it's possibly "oversold".

Thank you!

Sandra

Q: I do not think you really answered the question about earnings for vitalhub. My look at them seemed they were pretty good but still down 10% today. Any thoughts?

Q: Being mostly a "dividend long term" investor ,I did not invest in tech stocks up to now, except for some specific etfs . Considering this kind of "switch" from tech to energy stocks in the markets, and new valuations of major US tech stock ,I just started to invest in this sector. What is your view versus the opportunities and timing for investing in major tech stocks actually ?

Q: Hello everyone,

Oracle has lost half it's value since peaking in September, and I have ridden the wave up and now down. They just announced a $50B equity and debt deal on Feb 01, 2026 to finance their cloud build out primarily for OpenAI. I am getting concerned about the amount of debt they are taking on, and I am wondering if it's time to sell and move on. Thanks for your comments.

Q: Hi 5i Team - I've become interested in a cyber security company called Cohere Technology. The Canadian Government, Bell Canada and RBC have all committed to using Cohere's solutions in their cyber security defense efforts. Also the Canadian Government has planned to invest in this company.

It looks like Cohere is a private company. Do you know of any publicly traded company that has invested in Cohere or are there possible plans for an IPO. Or is there any other way for a small retail investor to get involved.
Thanks.

Q: Hello 5i,

Following my SEPT 30th question and joining portfolio analytics I’ve embarked on my retooling. Following some of the great suggestions, still entering haha.

Long, Eq Wt; JPM, BN, NVDA, GOOG, META, NBIS, HOOD, COIN, GLXY, ORCL, AXON.

Starters; KRMN, CLS, SHOP, URI, WMT, CSU.

If this is YOUR U.S. portfolio what are the
next 3 full positions? And 2 starters to build out?

Yours truly, acutely aware of the risk etc etc.

Q: Going into earnings what are your thoughts on how BKSY, SRAD and ORCL are performing? How is your confidence in these names moving forward?

Q: Hi Peter and 5i,
May please have your thoughts on NVDA's announcement that META and ORCL will adopt its Spectrum-X Ethernet networking switches for their AI data centers.
Do you have an opinion on how much this will affect ANET's market position?
Would you look at exiting a position in ANET based on this competitive threat?
ANET is down 13% on Monday and Tuesday.
Thanks so much.

"Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET) stock fell 2.4% Monday after NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) announced that Meta (NASDAQ:META) and Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) will adopt its Spectrum-X Ethernet networking switches for their AI data centers.
NVIDIA revealed that Meta will integrate Spectrum Ethernet switches into its networking infrastructure for the Facebook Open Switching System (FBOSS), while Oracle plans to build giga-scale AI supercomputers with Spectrum-X Ethernet switches.
The announcement appears to have triggered concerns about potential competition for Arista Networks, which is a major provider of cloud networking solutions and data center switches. Investors may be viewing NVIDIA’s expanding footprint in the networking space as a competitive threat to Arista’s market position."

Q: Hi Folks,
I sold some CSU recently. I now have MSFT, NVDA, AAPLE and some CSU as holdings in the Tech Sector( GOOG and AMZN as well). Can you suggest a couple of Tech stocks that I could add to my holdings in the Tech Sector. This would be in my TFSA.
Thanks

Q: Oracle's outlook seems to have reverberated through adjacent companies with VRT, MOD, etc., etc., all popping. Ellison has made some pretty remarkable statements about expected growth over the next 4 years, and he does not appear, to me anyway, to be overselling.

My question is about three areas to look at:
1) Other cloud service providers.
2) The nuts and bolts builders of the data centers.
3) Companies in the electrical storage areas that might service the above.

However I have one main caveat, I am only interested in companies that have not had a 1,000% gain in the last 5 years. I know that might seem like a ridiculous criterion, but I keep imagining MOD or STRL investors running for the hills on a serious market pullback.

Thank-you again.

Q: Given recent big leap in share prices of both companies, especially ORCL earnings were a slightly miss while NBIS's recent financing, both shares are still a buy now, or waiting for the hyper to be settled for a better entry point ? Thanks!
