Q: hi,
thank you for, and this question is in reference to, the answer to the "baby Mag 7" question a few days ago by "JR". are you able to do a short analysis of these 7, compared to the "adult" Mag 7 in regards current and future valuation, growth, debt/equity metrics. further, do you have any guess on the timeline of googl/meta etc.'s development/utilization of their own AI chips in house?
take as many points off as needed, this question seems like a bad homework assignment to me!
thanks Chris

Q: Dear Peter et al:

Recently a tech expert came on BNN and mentioned that going forward, it is the SaaS companies that will benefit from AI revolution. His top pick was ORCL. But he mentioned NOW and CRM as well in passing. I looked at these companies using Finviz's screener (free version!) and I see ORCL has a lot more debt than the other two.

What would be your choice? If not these three do you have any other favourites? Many thanks.

Q: IBM pays a nice dividend that has shown good growth over the past 5 years (the last 3 years, not so much). How would you rank it for both income and equity growth going forward? It seems that at one time is was the leader in AI and now it does not seem to get mentioned in that vein.

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you give a brief explanation of what VMS is. Also is this the main component of all three: CSU, Topicus and Lumine. I have some understanding of the operations of these three companies but am still somewhat confused as to their differences from each other. Are there any major competitors and if so could you name a couple. Thanks.

Q: Hello Folks:
As many others I have been hanging onto our Tech stocks (Goog, Amazon and Apple) hopping improvement is in sight.

Currently in consumer stocks we own Costco and Johnson and Johnson and media advises are diversifying more into this segment (eg. Mendalez, P&G etc.) useful strategy.

Do you think thinning down Tech is good advice? Perhaps utilities such as Enbridge could also be good defensive play. We are seniors valuing dividends with which Tech world is parsimonious. Apple appears the best bet in Tech as they actually produce and sell real products. Everything changes, however we value your thoughts and suggestions of including specific equity options (including an ETF). Currently I do not own any ETF's as I have preferred individual companies.
Thank you very much
brian

Q: What's your opinion on etf's that follow insider buying like the PKW
Invesco BuyBack Achievers ETF. I was trying to look up others like KNOW Direxion All Cap Insider Sentiment Shares and The Guggenheim Insider Sentiment ETF (NFO)which I can't even find the ticker in my td trading accounts for the latter two and finally the INK Canadian Insider (CIN) Index.

If there are trading vehicles/etfs that one can add to their portfolio do you recommend them or stick to using them as tools to find individual stocks such as Oracle ORCL the top holding in PKW Invesco BuyBack Achievers ETF. I'm confused by Oracle because it looks like there's more selling so I don't why it would be a top holding. Anyways just trying to educate myself please help. P.s. is there any stocks in these indexes that attract your attention? Cheers
