Q: I have a RESP for 3 grandchildren under the age of 11.
Would you please suggest 3 or 4 stocks to add or swap with any in the above group. Would prefer a bit more growth. Thank you

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Based on my previous question last quarter I know you were cautious going forward. So again they report what appears to be a solid quarter. Does this in any way charge your perspective. In other words I would appreciate your current opinion. I am not sure if I should take my profit and be happy or continue to be patient because the odds would be in my favour for another modest run up. Your professional opinion is always helpful with a high degree of accuracy. As a little retail investor I thank you immensely.

BDI just reported a good quarter. The stock has moved to new highs. They seem to be doing very well in the recent past. However I am wondering how far can they go. I am up and wondering if I should just lock in my profits and be happy. Please give your thoughts on there future prospects. Thank you...your analysis is always helpful.

Could you provide me with a couple snapshots of Black Diamond please? How do they compare from a year ago, two years ago, when they cut their dividend, or even in their oil bull market phase. The question really would be if they are looking any better lately, are they doing the right things, how challenged are they, are they investable right now? Thank you

Q: Have owned these in the past and have made a profit. With all the hype in LNG and a possible rebound in commodities do you see any upside investment in these stocks. Benji Gallagher sees a big jump for BDI but HNL at least pays you to wait. Would like an analysis of both and which one would you prefer for an investment today.

Q: Since the bump in these stocks last fall, presumably tied to potential LNG related opportunities, they have fallen back to earth and BDI is not far off its 52 week low. Other than BDI and HNL, are there any other lodging companies in BC that might benefit from the LNG project? Would you recommend it over these two? If not, which one of these two companies are better positioned to do business in BC?

Q: I sold BDI at a sizable loss years ago and fully appreciate how extremely cyclical this companies earnings are, for good or bad. Waiting patiently for an opportunity to catch a high beta cyclical upswing in the companies earnings. Can you advice as to how to approach this investment thesis? Start building a position now even thought its early or wait till there is clearly an upswing in earnings while trying to avoid false starts? I cant help but think that after years of terrible government policy there is blood in the streets now.
