Q: Earlier this year I transferred my Magna shares from my non registered Canadian Account to my non registered US account in order to avoid money exchange charges. I am interested in selling the shares and would like to know if the same shares can be sold through my US account so I can use the US funds to purchase some beaten up ADSK and CRM shares this month.
Thanks for all the support in 2021.

Kevin

Q: If the scary inflation monster is in fact a mirage and we return next year to the old norm of global oversupply, excess savings, and stagnant growth what would be some Canadian and US stocks likely to benefit.
Thanks

Q: If a guy were to start pecking away at these high growth tech names either Cnd or US that have been slaughtered the last while (especially the last couple days), which ones would you be looking at for a 5-10 yr hold?

Q: I currently own MSFT and NVDA in my technology group. I would like to add one position as a 5% weight in my technology holdings. What large cap stock would you add to compliment MSFT and NVDA as a long term hold.
I already own AMZN and GOOGL under communication sector. Best, Don

Q: Thanks for your insights in structuring the TFSA for 2022 and going forward, dated October 26, 2022. To transition to the new "alignment", I will need to transfer a number of Technology stock positions, see above, to a trading account, or sell....and I would like your take on this matter as the intention is to transition is DSG and NVDA.
The present TFSA is tilted, well more than that, like 45% + to tech positions, including VEEV. As the TFSA is tilted to growth-eee positions which ones would be better now held in a trading account, aka lower growth going forward....or if there are any that are no longer high conviction, please let me know....Thanks for all the sound/solid insights......Tom

Q: Good morning again, I just sent the beginning of a question and inadvertently sent it before I finished!
Here it is , hopefully in its entirety,
I am building a long term portfolio, 10 plus years, and would like to add 2 or 3 Large US Technology stocks. I am looking at AAPL , GOOG AMZN and MSFT , I already have NVDA and are not interested in FB. Any thoughts on the above, which order would you suggest buying them in, and are there any others I should consider? Also can you explain the difference between GOOG and GOOGL Thank you

Q: Hi 5i,
What are your thoughts on the rumoured, from several sources, PYPL bid for PINS at around $70 a share? It seems like a lowball bid. Not much of a premium and not even close to taking out the yearly high of PINS. On what metric would you evaluate this bid and how does it compare to peer group acquisitions in the past couple of years? How do you see this playing out in the market? Other potential bidders?
Thanks again.

Q: Hi 5i Team,
Do you have a preference for long term growth in US banks? I was considering JP Morgan or Bank of America. Any preference here or other suggestion? Looking for long term growth.
Secondly, could you suggest 5 US stocks with good positive momentum that you would invest in now? Sector is not important for these suggestions.
Thanks,
Linda Nemis

Q: Am wondering which of these stocks are vulnerable to climbing interest rates. For the vulnerable ones, would you please advise at what point you would consider reducing or selling them. Also, a strategy on when and how to do such an assessment would be instructive.

Thanks for your great advice. Most of your subscribers say this regularly, but they probably really mean it ! If it weren't for 5i, I'd still be holding a bag of mutual funds not knowing how big my losses were.

Q: I currently own these companies. I have some US cash to add to my TFSA and would like your recommendation on 5 additional best of breed companies. Or would you increase number of shares in the companies I already own.

Thanks, Donna

Q: Hi,
I was looking in questions and could not find anyone who asked about the last quarterly results.
Could you provide your take on the latest quarter please?
Also, what are analysts expectations over the coming years in terms of growth for revenues and EPS? On a forward basis what is current PE?
Thanks,

Q: Hello,
I was lucky enough to invest in NVIDIA 3-4 years ago but it has grown to around 15% of my portfolio. I’m considering trimming it to 6-7%. I want to replace with other companies in the tech sector, which ones would you recommend for a 10+ year hold? My only other tech holding is Kinaxis.
Thank you for your help.

Q: Peter; The CCP seems intent on cracking down on their own tech companies. Will this be beneficial to other tech companies in Canada and the U.S .- and ,if so, which ones would benefit? Thanks. Rod
