Q: Goodafternoon 5i'
I am not concerned about the sector but wondered how you might rank these companies as buys currently and for the long term: NVDA, CRM, TEAM, MSFT, INTC, QCOM, GILD, DXCM
Thanks for the great work

Q: Hello 5i
I own all of the companies noted. I'm wondering if there is excessive overlap here and if I should sell one or more in an effort to reduce overall holdings?
Thanks
Dave

Q: Hello Team,
I am overweight in technology growth names and have been caught in this “sector rotation” from growth to value. My question is do I now hold steady and ride out the storm, or trim back my growth holdings and switch to value? I am a buy and hold investor typically and believe the names I am invested in are best in class in what they do, and believe the way the world is going that technology will continue to advance and should be where the biggest growth is now and into the foreseeable future. So, with the names listed do I buy more , hold, or sell? Thanks for your input on the matter.

Q: Please comment on the impact of recent US China tariff & Huawei development on these stocks. Which will suffer long term adverse effect ? Most come down a lot on May 20. Thanks a lot.

Q: Hello 5i,
I’ve held Toy for a few years. When Toysrus hit last year many of us wrote in expressing concerns about the impact on the company questioning the growth prospects for spinmaster. It seems that management underestimated the impact because it keeps coming up in conference calls. As much as I’d rather not ask this question: should we question the skill of management to manage through this shift in landscape?

I held on to Ebix. Can you comment on earnings and offer an opinion in relative risk between it and CRM( on watch list but no position yet). For a long term hold which would be a better hold throug a market correction?

I’m underwater on sq and want to average down. Should I wait for a better opportunity to bring weighting to 2%? I know 5i is not thrilled at timing questions but how do tech stocks perform over the summer?

Please deduct three questions.
Thank you.

Q: Hi There,
I am currently looking at adding one US stock to my RRSP account. I currently have JPM, VTI and IWO in the account. Of the above listed stocks or any others you feel would be a better fit, which would you recommend? Timeframe is 10 plus years.
Thank You,

Q: Hi,
I already own some MA but I want to add more exposure to this sector. Which of these companies would you suggest for a long term hold with minimal volatility? (I'm not sure why why my TD webroker trading platform lumps CRM into the same category as the others but it does?)
Is there a credit card ETF you like?
Also, are there any equivalent Canadian stocks?

Q: Good Afternoon 5i,

I'm looking for companies that have little to no debt, high growth in Canada or the USA.

Some companies I hold include (which I believe meet this criteria): SHOP, KXS, NVDA, SQ, MU, GOOS.

Can you provide a few more that you like that meet this criteria?

Thanks!
Dave

Q: Hi 5I team.

Other than XUS (15%) I really do not have much exposure to US Stocks. Would you please recommend a few US stocks or Sector based ETFs to invest about 10% of new cash. I have a few options based on Mad Money and Market Call. Any preferences of the stocks I've listed or other ETF suggestions would be helpful. My horizon is for 5+ years.

Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team,

Back in May 2018 you answered a question about these 2 companies, CRM, NOW.
You preferred CRM at the time.
Based on their most recent financial results (released Jan 30/31) and forward guidance, do you still prefer CRM?
AMcCreath (BNN) indicated this am that several SaaS related companies seem to be firing on all cylinders....based on Q4 earnings at least. These 2 were mentioned.
What would be your top 5 SaaS companies, either US and/or Canada listed?
I do prefer investing in this revenue type model as it kinda guarantees 85%+ quarterly revenue....plus any new business clients.
I already own DSG as part of this thesis.

Keep up the fantastic team work!

Cheers,
SteveMc
