Q: Buy TFII or ATA? Which would you suggest and why or do you have another you would suggest for a TFSA?
Thanks and keep up the great work, much appreciated.

Q: Good evening,
I’m looking to increase my stock holdings in the industrial sector. I currently own HON at 3% and have a small position in XBC (due to recent declines). I’d like to add 3 long-term stocks and have identified the following as options: CNR, WSP or J, TFII, XYL, ATA, ROP. I can accept higher risk and would like companies that are leaders or doing something new/innovative in their area. I was also thinking of diversifying within the industrial sector. I’m wondering what 3 additions you’d pick at this time, either from my list above or others that I may have missed? I’m also wondering whether I should add to XBC at this point?
Thank you for great this service!
Lisa

Q: Thank you for providing such an unparalleled service. Your cost increases are minimal.
My question is about diversification in my RRSP which consists of mostly high quality growth stocks (GOOGL, VISA, NIKE, ACN, NVIDIA, etc.) I am however, under-represented in Canadian stocks which include BAM, SHOPIFY, IFC, FSV, & BIP.UN. My goal is to build up my Canadian portfolio in this RSP.
I am well represented in Tech, Consumers, disc, & health care with my US holdings. Can you recommend 10 Canadian stocks that I could add for the long term to balance out my portfolio? I am deficient in financial, materials & industrials. Or to apply the Occam's razor, should I just buy and accumulate XIC over time.
Many thanks

Q: Hello Peter,
We are seeking advice on how to play the infastructure game now that Biden confirmed on Sunday that it is a stand-alone deal. We are light on Steel, Industrials, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Transportation, Materials, and 5G. We have some green energy with BEP.UN & AQN. We will reshuffle the deck by reducing Tech stocks to accommodate the shift.
Can you rank the following stocks in the categories 1st to last and add any other stocks that may be a better choice than those listed
Steel: RS, NUE, SCHN
Industrials: DD, HON (+ any other suggestions)
Aerospace: LMT, BA
Transportation: WSP, TFII, UNP, CNR, CP (+ any other suggestions)
Materials: CX (+ any other suggestions)
Manufacturing: (suggestions please)
5G: MRVL, ERIC
My last question is ask your opinion of the top 8 stocks (please rank) for the infastructure deal regardless of the sector.
Thank you for your great service.
Debbie and Jerry

Q: The listed companies each carry about a 1% weighing in my portfolio. There are no tax implications and I am positive on all of these. I am trying to reduce my overall holdings to about 25. I believe each company has its merits but I will never hit a home run with such a small investment. Can you advise which ones you would keep and consolidate or perhaps suggest something else to put all of the proceeds toward.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: I have owned CNR for a number of years and it has been a solid performer. I appreciate its regular dividend increases and blue-chip status. Having said that, under what circumstances, if any, would you consider switching to TFII? I know there is an increase in risk but do you expect the long term growth prospects with TFII to be that much better? In particular, I am thinking that the UPS segment of TFII's business offers a real potential growth opportunity.
Taxes are not an issue.
Appreciate your insight.
Paul F.

Q: Which one looks better for new money and a long term hold?
Thank you
Thank you
Q: I have a full position in CNR in my cash account and a 1/2 position of TFII in my TFSA. My plan is to sell down my CNR and increase TFII as my annual contribution limits permit. Good plan?

Q: I have Kinaxis in the growth section of my portfolio and have had for years. It's done well, but has receded and stagnated, so I am considering replacing it with one of the above which have been on my watch list for a while. I also hold PHO and DND which will eventually have to be replaced. I'm not concerned about sector, except, no tech because I'm overweight, but am looking to replace with a decent quality Canadian stock with good capital appreciation expected over the next few years as the economy recovers. Please order all five, including KXS as buy and hold growth stocks. Thanks!
Q: Good morning, considering TFII being a cyclical stock, at what stage in the cycle would you say it is in these days? In other words if i bought it now hopefully it's not too late in the game, thanks
Q: I am up 141% on this stock and it is approaching 7% of my Canadian stock portfolio. While I do not need to sell a portion of it, does a 7% size begin to concern you?
Q: Concerning tfii question of John the 7th june, i think it is due to a downgrade from BMO : https://www.lapresse.ca/affaires/entreprises/2021-06-06/l-investisseur-avise/une-premiere-chez-goodfood.php
I did a quick google translate on tfi section ;
Up about 75% year-to-date, TFI lost support from BMO this week. Analyst Fadi Chamoun on Monday withdrew his recommendation to buy the stock in Montreal-based trucking company formerly known as TransForce. The upside potential is limited, he said, although future results could be wow. "Much of it is already discounted at the current price," he believes.

Q: Dear 5i,
Here are the stocks I have left to purchase from your Balanced portfolio, can you please place these in order or how attractive they are at this time for a long-term hold? Also, is QQQ a good starting point for US focus holding in a registered account? Thank you.
