Q: I have held CJT for a while, in a taxable account. I am down about 13%. In previous Q&A, 5I has leaned towards TFII when discussing these 2. On the other hand, CJT was covered in a 5I article a few weeks back, something like, "Growth on Sale", for stocks that had dropped a lot in the recent rotation but seemed to show potential to recover. And then there is CJT's deal with Amazon which also seems to be a good positive. So, although you have answered before, which of the 2 would you currently invest in. The tax loss offers some solace and benefit for a switch, but then there is a possible recovery??? Thanks for your excellent service.

Q: Hi team ,
Two part question: 1. Any insight as to why Toi has been dropping significantly the last couple days? It had held up nice while other tech took its dive , and now the last couple days when tech seems to be gaining ground it’s doing the opposite. Is this a chance to buy more ??
2. As of today what’s your current list of a few favourites you would choose you buy today for a long term hold, in any sector. US or Cnd . Thanks
Shane

Q: You recently commented that at this point you like TFII better than CNR and CPR. Could you elaborate and would you consider TFII a good choice for growth if we have inflationary pressures.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: Hi guys,
I have held BYD for a long time, is it time to move on to something like TFII inside a growth/balance portfolio?
Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team. I’m trying to decide on investing in CNR, CP or something else in the commercial transportation industry. Could you give me your thoughts and feedback on their current state and future outlook to compare. Trying to understand why CNR has not recovered from last drop like CP did. Would CNR still be a good choice while the stock is still low? or would you suggest CP or something else at this time that would be better even if it’s a US company? Why? And could you rank them in order of strength in their ability to produce profits moving forward. thanks!
Q: Hi 5i team,
I’ve half position in CAE and in MG. I’m thinking of starting a half position in TFII. All three stocks have gone up quite a bit in the past year with the EV fads and the post covid fads. Which of these three companies is the best buy at the current price for 2-3 years hold and your reasoning behind? Thanks.

Q: The above listed stocks are in the $C side of my husband's RRIF. I would appreciate your input on which stocks to reduce or eliminate to make his annual withdrawal. Please rank from first sell/reduce to last. For context, our overall portfolio is overweight technology and communication services (primarily GOOG & DIS)

Q: Doing some spring cleaning and attempting to tilt my folio into more income and less growth/risk. I follow the BP almost exclusively and would like your opinion on which Div payers in the BP you would increase in weight, and what non Div payers you would decrease. Thanks!
Q: I am up 72% on TFII in my TFSA account, the total value of this holding represents ~2% of my portfolio. The funds in my TFSA are targeted for growth and I have no immediate need for the cash so I can take on reasonable risk for greater reward with a longterm view. Should I sell my holding to realize the capital gain or hold? If you suggest selling what would you suggest as a replacement?
Q: If you had to choose between TFII and KXS for a three year investment, which would it be?
Thanks for all the advice.

Q: I want to buy positions in these companies in my unregistered account. Could you put them in order to purchase based on market economy timing, if possible. And in my TFSA I'd like to purchase ECN, LGO, ATS--any thoughts on sequence and timing of purchase? Thank you.
Q: Can you provide your opinion on Matson. Are there any other shipping or transport stocks you find attractive? Thanks.

Q: Where would you put the odds of TFI doing an equity financing prior to closing the UPS deal? Is it possible they might finance the purchase with debt alone? With the deal expected to close in the second quarter, when would you expect any financing to be announced? For an investor looking to add to their TFI holding, would you recommend waiting to take advantage of the drop in the stock price that an equity deal would likely cause?
Q: To what degree you think the CP proposed acquisition of the U.S. railway will affect TFII's business operations? That's assuming that CP will get the necessary regulatory approvals, which is still perhaps a major hurdle. Thanks.

Q: I’m adding to a partially established portfolio (growth-oriented, long-term). I’m interested both in taking advantage of the recent tech downturn (although not too much, as I’m already somewhat tech-heavy) and in further diversifying. Two questions:
1. I own partial positions in the following securities and am looking to add more. Could you rank them in your order of preference for purchasing now? Any you’d avoid buying now?
WELL, SHOP, ATZ, STC, PHO, ENGH, KXS
2. I’m considering buying positions in the following new securities (not easily comparable, I know), with a view to diversity and growth, as well as US exposure. Could you rank them in order of preference for purchasing now? Any you’d avoid buying now?
BNS, SLF, PLC, MG, LAC, REAL, TFII, NVDA.US, ROKU.US, SQ.US
Thanks for your great work and please feel free to dock me for two questions.
