Q: Is it timely to buy/add to KXS after huge drop from some $223 in Nov & good $5.63 rise today to $141.32? What is u attractive price.James Telfser on BMM yesterday has some kind words & really like it for long term Txs for u usual great services & views
Q: I have Kinaxis in the growth section of my portfolio and have had for years. It's done well, but has receded and stagnated, so I am considering replacing it with one of the above which have been on my watch list for a while. I also hold PHO and DND which will eventually have to be replaced. I'm not concerned about sector, except, no tech because I'm overweight, but am looking to replace with a decent quality Canadian stock with good capital appreciation expected over the next few years as the economy recovers. Please order all five, including KXS as buy and hold growth stocks. Thanks!
Q: I know you typically don't like averaging down. I'm underwater on the following names. Would you be comfortable adding to them and if so which order would you prioritize new money be allocated. 10+ year timeframe.
Q: Above are my CDN holdings greater than 2% of my portfolio. I'm looking for 1 more sleep at night CDN recommendation for an RRSP account that you would initiate at more than 2% and hoping you might have a short list of recommendations? No oil/gas/pipelines, thx but otherwise I'm open.
Q: Dear 5i,
Here are the stocks I have left to purchase from your Balanced portfolio, can you please place these in order or how attractive they are at this time for a long-term hold? Also, is QQQ a good starting point for US focus holding in a registered account? Thank you.
Q: Please name 5 companies in the USA and Canada that you think the market has punished unfairly in this tech sell off. Aggressive names with compelling fundamentals and huge growth opportunities would be the focus regardless of sector with a nod to companies with a 10 billion market cap or less. These would be companies in which the downside is fully priced in but nobody is giving them any credit for projected growth (and you believe that growth potential is substantial). If you could then pick your favourite from these in the US and Canada and add one sentence as to why I would be most appreciative!
First, looking into an unseen future, what are the odds of DOL and ECN being acquired? And which companies would be interested in acquiring them?
Second, I am looking to buy MG but I don't have any free cash available. Would need to sell one of my tech holdings.(CSU, SHOP, KXS, LSPD) My gut tells me to sell KXS.
Would like to get a second opinion.
Q: My TFSA appears to be revisiting a March 31 bottom. It came up somewhat through April but is revisiting the low seen at the end of March. Is this also reflected in the tech stocks that 5I covers. Is the tech sector nearing somewhat of a “fair value” scenario. At what point during a sector rotation do investors suddenly realize that there may be some “value” in hanging on to growth tech stocks.
Q: Would like your opinion on Kinaxis. Is it a buy at today’s price? What contributed to the drop in share price? Can we expect better growth in the coming months? Should I sell or buy more shares at this time? Thanks for you response!
Rossana..
Q: Hi Team,
Currently I am down over 30% with kxs in a cash account . I am considering selling and generating a capital loss and using the funds to buy either TOI, or ABNB. Would this be advisable? Or do you see kxs having more upside long term than the other two mentioned? Or do you have a different top pick at the moment you would recommend buying instead to replace Kxs with , if I sold? Either US or Cnd. Thanks
Shane
Q: Did anything material come out of the conference call that could explain the drop today and its lacklustre performance over the past few months? It was one of 5i's go-to growth stock recommendations. Looks like the shine has come off a bit.
Q: In one answer recently you called KXS still "buyable". Sorry for the lack of context.
Do you think the shine has come off the stock and could it be time to possibly sell and move on in the context of building up some cash for another similar position? Thanks
