Q: Hello 5i,
Thank you for providing a clear and modulated message through the past 2 months.
For a 5-10 year hold could you rank the top 10 highest (TSX) yielding stocks with the safest dividends. ( strongest balance sheet, lowest payout ratio, historical dividend growth, etc).
Could you also rank them separately in terms of bounceback / growth potential over the next 2 to 3 years?
There may be redundancy in this question vs others asked and the 5i portfolios - so please take as many credits as necessary.
Thank you

Q: I hold a small position in EIF (1%) and debating whether to add or move on here. I like the divvy, but is it sustainable (payout ratio?). 50% off recent highs made in Feb, is it likely to re-test lows of late March ($14) in a second wave of market downdraft ? What are it’s prospects in a post-Corona world, does its business lend itself to quick recovery?

Q: Good Morning
In the process of harvesting some tax losses. Can you suggest a proxy for CAE and EIF. Or sell outright and buy back in 30 days?

Q: Dear sirs,
Looking for your insights into the outstanding debt of both company's, noting the large discounts in current pricing. Assuming I am comfortable with the volatility and can hold the debentures should one expect to receive par value on maturity

Q: I am underweight the following positions: ZDI, CTC.A, EIF, SIS. If I were to add to one of these positions, which would you recommend? For longterm hold. Thank you.
Q: What is exactly the problem with EIF as its SP keeps on falling daily? Is this company actually has an operational/financial problem, or is the market's perception that it could have such problems going forward? EIF is one of my key holdings and I'm down about 40% so far (actually closer to 90% from the start of 2020). If it's the latter I might have to consider cutting my losses. Thanks.

Q: I have the following securities in what I consider a balanced portfolio. The fixed income portion doesn’t show here because it consists of OAS. CCP. Plus two other pensions.
I’m thinking of sell part position in MMX ( small loss);and ARE to realize a capital loss while at the same time raising some cash for the next pullback. I like TFII . We need to keep the food chain moving. Trucking an important part . The other is cargo jet. Am I on the right track . Your opinion. Or would you look elsewhere given the current holdings.

Q: Hello 5i team
Thanks for working through this mess.
I have BCE, ENB, EIF, FSZ, MG, PBH, SPB in a non registered. I can sell these for a tax loss presently but should I, and if I do should I replace them with similar dividend players or risk 30 days to buy them back? This might fall into the personal decision category but if there is any comments or advice that you could provide please.
Thanks
Jeremy

Q: I currently don't have either of these companies in my portfolio and need to add to my industrial sector. Both are related to the aviation industry. Which of these do you see as being a better long term hold and why? Do you have any concerns around the sustainability of either? Any debt concerns. I do like the much higher income potential with EIF, but don't wish to be short sighted either. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!
