Q: Hello 5i team
Thanks for working through this mess.
I have BCE, ENB, EIF, FSZ, MG, PBH, SPB in a non registered. I can sell these for a tax loss presently but should I, and if I do should I replace them with similar dividend players or risk 30 days to buy them back? This might fall into the personal decision category but if there is any comments or advice that you could provide please.
Thanks
Jeremy

Q: I currently don't have either of these companies in my portfolio and need to add to my industrial sector. Both are related to the aviation industry. Which of these do you see as being a better long term hold and why? Do you have any concerns around the sustainability of either? Any debt concerns. I do like the much higher income potential with EIF, but don't wish to be short sighted either. Your feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

Q: Hi,

If you were to look at your Income Portfolio with a critical eye, are there any companies or ETFs there that you would consider at high risk of reducing their dividend/distribution? If so, why?

Thanks,

Gord

Q: There is a lot of negative news out on Boeing and some companies ,GE for one hurting because of the falling investors are showing. Exchange (EIF) is also in the aeronautics business and do you think it could follow suit with a lets say sympathy drop??

Q: Please comment on Marc Cohones ( famed short seller) charges that EIF is essentially fraudulent. He claims they borrow money or dilute shares to pay their dividend among other misdeeds. In fact 2 years ago at the famed Grants’s conference he claimed several Canadian companies are fraudulent under a lax regulatory regime.

Q: Hello, could you please give me your assessment of Chorus Aviation. I am considering it for inclusion in my TFSA after selling my Sentry Canadian Income (CIG50217). Also considering Exchange Income Corp. Please advise on both.
Thank you!
