Q: Hi
I hold all these stocks in a non registered account, to take advantage of their dripping and tax advantages. I have the $ to buy another holding. What top 3 companies do you suggest to add to this mix for a long term hold, my goal is the highest dividend possible, with as little risk as possible. Also, do you have any issues with the compaies already held? I also have other growthier holdings in my tfsa as well as etfs for US and International exposure in my RRSP.
thank you
Michele

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan and Team,
I hold BNS, BEP.UN, FTS, KXS, PBH and TRP in my child's RESP account and it has been performing quite well. With another 8 years to go, should I just add to the existing positions or add something else?
Thanks.

Q: I have BNS at 3% in my TFSA and have been considering switching to BAM.A.CA for diversification in the financial sector and for possible increased growth. I realize the dividend from BAM is less than BNS and am not aware of which currency BAM is paid out in. I would appreciate your input re pro /con of making this switch.

Q: I would appreciate a recommendation on 6 Canadian dividend paying stocks with a growth element to them.
Q: BNS, and indeed all the Canadian banks have wealth management units, including brokerage units like Scotia Itrade which generate considerable profit. The announcement by Charles Schwab that it would stop charging commissions on trades seems to have hammered a number of other broker related stocks. Do you see this as putting pressure on BNS to lower or eliminate their commissions? If so would this put downward pressure on the stock?

Q: Hello 5i,
I currently hold these stocks in an unregistered account. I have journaled over the five companies into a US account for the dividend. I would like to add possibly two more companies that pay their dividend in US funds. I have the rest of the balanced fund and some growth in my TFSA. Any suggestions to add here, and if it results in duplication, what would you remove from the list. I am well balanced and would likely have to sell at least one current stock and could just add the other if you can give me two. Was looking at Nutrien or AQN. Didn’t pull the trigger on AQN last year at 12.5.
Thanks for the assist.

Q: Hi,
I'm looking for another lo volatility, long term dividend payer with some growth like AQN, which I own. I also own TD and RY. Can you pick two choices for me from the above list? (as there are so many different offerings from BEP and BIP, I hope these are the correct ones? If not please suggest the better choice.)

Q: Hi 5i,
Hold the above companies in my TFSA ($30,000). % holdings around 10% for each, except CAE, OSS TRI, AD which are 3% - 5%.
Looking to deploy $5,000. Looking at d-un, dir-un, Telus & Fortis.
Safety and Income preferred, as in mid 60's. I would certainly welcome any other suggestions.
Thank You.
