Q: Is it too late to buy ATZ? Are there others in the sector you like better?

Q: Hi group now that a vaccine is close I would like to start to build a portfolio based on good solid cheap value stocks . Can you recommend along with brief comments a couple of stocks in each of the key sectors that will start to move as the vaccine comes on line. Your expertise is appreciated

Q: Hello Folks:
As the Covid situation has hastened the move to online shopping, some brick and mortar stores are going to have a much brighter future than others. Businesses such as Walmart and Best Buy appear to be having more success than others. I would appreciate your suggestions on choosing companies which have the brightest future integrating these two systems.

Q: It is hard to imagine that this pandemic will one day be a distant memory but eventually life will return to a pre pandemic normal. Can you name 4 or 5 Canadian traded stocks that suffered during the pandemic that you believe will have growth potential in this future?

Q: If you could see into the future and knew COVID, people's fear of COVID, the economic effects of COVID were all gone ( basically a complete return to normal scenario was 100% for sure in 2021/2022) what basket of Canadian stocks would you purchase now for longer term hold (5-8 years).

so... As per your comments couple of days ago referring to a positive outlook for ATZ being dependent on the Oct 14 earnings call, I am assuming??? the very positive move today (up over 8%) is a result of a good report yesterday?

If you could please provide your opinion of the recent ATZ Earnings Call and any forward looking opinions you may have.

Also, in consideration for the very negative a brick & mortar report (malls primarily) which I saw yesterday along with the very positive on-line shopping results reported, are there any other companies which are related to on-line shopping you think we should consider moving forward in 2021come as we/if we come out the other end of Covid? Also, please confirm ATZ & LSPD are considered Industrials.

ps... presently my portfolio has a 5% position ATZ & 4.8% LSPD

Q: I do not own these 8 companies from the balanced portfolio and I do have some money to invest. I already have a reasonably well balanced portfolio (except overweight in tech). Dividends are nice but not that important. Is there one you would consider a particularly interesting buy with a timeline of 5 years? Could you rank the top3?

Q: I am underweight consumer discretionary stocks (also underweight US stocks). I only own AMZN and REAL in this space. Considering ATZ or GRMN. Are there any others I should consider. What would be your suggestion to add? My portfolio has a mix of about 25 US and Canadian stocks based on reading your question section daily. Thanks for all you do for the independent investor!

Q: I know you are not speculators especially in this forum but you have in the past identified companies like shopify, lightspeed etc. Are there any new companies that your watching for the growth portfolio at this time that you care to share for members to do their own research on?

Q: Granted that these companies differ in dividend (only with AD), size (DOO largest, AD smallest) and type of business (sports equipment, fashion products, and equity financing to private companies), how would you rank these four stocks for future growth runway today (highest to lowest) if sector was not a consideration? You have been rightly complemented many times for
or your wise counsel recently. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the group for their many varied questions. Both the questions and answers have helped me a lot.
For various reasons I have not visited the Asset Allocator section for some time and find that I am not as well 'balanced' as I should be. I am over invested in financials (BAM.A, TD, BNS, RY and SLF) and grossly underinvested in Consumer cyclicals. I am also overinvested in Canada. Could you please suggest 2-3 US and Canadian Consumer cyclical stocks?
