Q: Morningstar rates ATZ "Wide" moat, only a handful of Canadian companies are rated as such. How did ATZ build that moat? I missed the boat, but just doing research.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
Hope you all continue to be safe! Question is on Aritzia's earnings and the market reaction. They seem to have done quite well and same store sales growth looks pretty strong. I initiated the position with the BE portfolio recently but didn't buy all the stock I was supposed to and was looking at adding the rest following the earnings realease.
Your thoughts, please!
Thanks!

Q: Good morning, Peter and Ryan.
Sorry this is to follow up with my last question. I forgot to include ATZ in my tickers.
I have limited cash in CAD RRSP account now. I think the each of above four stocks (i.e. XBC, DOO, ATZ, WELL) will be good additions to diversify my current portfolio. But I may add only two of three of the above. Can you please rank them?
Thank you,
Yiwen

Q: Your top 5 consumer stocks for long-term hold? US would be ok.
Q: Hello 5i,
Thanks for all your great work.
I've been impressed with the unique way that Aritzia has carved out a place for itself in the Canadian retail sector. I've been thinking about stepping in and buying some discounted shares. Can you please comment on your overall thoughts on the company, it's financial strength and it's ability to make it to the other side of the virus disruption.
Thanks so much,
Murray

Q: Hi, 5i Team
In the market updates email that you sent on Mar/01, you mentioned the following companies deserved a closer look:
Air Canada (AC), Lightspeed (LSPD), BRP Inc. (DOO),Maple Leaf Foods (MFI),Dollarama (DOL),Aritzia (ATZ),Gildan Activewear (GIL),
Alimentation Couche-Tard (ATD.b), Canada goose (GOOS), Descartes Systems. Group (DSG), WSP Global (WSP),
In the "5i special Opportunities Report" within the Special Market Volatility Report email sent on Mar/09, you recommended 10 stocks that were very attractive. Only WSP and DSG were also included. What do you think of the others? Is it a good time to buy them around March?
Are they also solid names worth owning especially now after some huge corrections?
Thank a lot!

Thank You for your great service

Q: Hello 5i team,
I read that Artiza's director sold last week 1.9 million $ worth of stock. As well as two other executives exercised their options and sold.
Would you read anything negative ?
Between GOOS and ATZ, which one would you prefer for a long term holding I need more consumer discretionary in my portfolio. (I am 60 and will not require to access any funds).
Regards,
Elaine

Q: Hi,
Can you tell me what you think fair share value is for Aritzia now? Ive held it less than a year, and am thrilled with being up $8 (almost 50%). Im just trying to decide if the best part of this ride is over or if it has potential and reasoning to make more solid gains. Even if you think growth will continue but slow down from the current pace, I will likely sit on it a while. I just dont want to kill my returns by waiting if its likely to stagnate for a while.
Thanks

Q: Happy New Year Peter!
What are your thoughts on ATZ’s latest quarter? Can it be considered a “little Lululemon?” Does it have potential to be a part of 5i’s growth portfolio given the overlap with Canada Goose?
Thanks for all the great work by 5i in 2019,
Angelo

Q: Could you please comment on their latest results.
What are your thoughts on initiating a position in a TFSA at this price level.
Thanks for the great analyses and ideas in 2019!!

Q: With the recent jump in ATZ Im up about 35% in the past year on this company. Is it
time to "take the money and run" or do you think there is still room for growth with this company?

Q: Is this a buy and hold stock ? Thanks
Q: Hi there, ATZ quarterly results looked strong (however as did the past Q's), but the stock does not really seem to gain much attention and attraction since IPO. What are your thoughts on this company and do you foresee it eventually gaining traction like such Canadian brands like Lululemon or Canada Goose? Does it need a US listing to gain attention and investors? Would you step in today? If so, at a full or half position? Thanks!
Q: Why is Aritzia off 3% today
Q: ATZ looks profitable and is getting noticed by analysts. Have you reviewed this company. Any concerns?
Q: As with most retail companies ATZ took a pretty good hit after the China tariffs were announced and has been plummeting ever since (except the past couple of days). Do you think these tariffs are now fully priced into ATZ or do you think there will be another hit to earnings when the next quarterly report comes out? Is ATZ good enough to overcome this risk?
Q: Comments and analysis please on ATZ's results just released. I have a small position. Would you add to it based on these results up to a maximum of 2.5% of total portfolio?
Thanks, Tim.
Thanks, Tim.
Q: Hi there, ATZ looks like its acting well and has broken to the upside past the deal price a few months ago of 16.90. Do you consider this a bullish sign and would you endorse a position today - either half or full? Would this be your growth choice of play in Canadian retail space versus something like GOOS or CTC etc?
