Investment Q&A

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.

Q: I need to increase my Cons Disc and my Real Estate allocations. I currently hold GC and DRA.UN. Do you have any other suggestions of a Balanced Equity nature for each sector. Risk is not a concern.

Thank You for your great service

Q: Hello 5i team,
I read that Artiza's director sold last week 1.9 million $ worth of stock. As well as two other executives exercised their options and sold.
Would you read anything negative ?
Between GOOS and ATZ, which one would you prefer for a long term holding I need more consumer discretionary in my portfolio. (I am 60 and will not require to access any funds).

Regards,
Elaine

Q: Hi,
Can you tell me what you think fair share value is for Aritzia now? Ive held it less than a year, and am thrilled with being up $8 (almost 50%). Im just trying to decide if the best part of this ride is over or if it has potential and reasoning to make more solid gains. Even if you think growth will continue but slow down from the current pace, I will likely sit on it a while. I just dont want to kill my returns by waiting if its likely to stagnate for a while.

Thanks

Q: Hi there, ATZ quarterly results looked strong (however as did the past Q's), but the stock does not really seem to gain much attention and attraction since IPO. What are your thoughts on this company and do you foresee it eventually gaining traction like such Canadian brands like Lululemon or Canada Goose? Does it need a US listing to gain attention and investors? Would you step in today? If so, at a full or half position? Thanks!

Q: As with most retail companies ATZ took a pretty good hit after the China tariffs were announced and has been plummeting ever since (except the past couple of days). Do you think these tariffs are now fully priced into ATZ or do you think there will be another hit to earnings when the next quarterly report comes out? Is ATZ good enough to overcome this risk?
