Q: Dear 5i,

I have a diverse portfolio with stocks and ETFs. Most of my portfolio is doing well. Want to know your thoughts about a few of my holdings that are not doing so well - Adobe, Nike, Accenture, TMO, IDXX and Telus.

What are your thoughts? Should I replace these with a US ETF or hold on. Thanks for your valuable advice as always.

Q: My total allocation in my portfolio is currently at 16%. However, it is inverse what the asset allocator recommend with nearly 4% in Cyclical and over 12% in Defensive. Would you recommend shifting some within Consumer? Do what extent does this matter since the boundary between both seems somewhat artificial? FYI - I own ABEV, BKGN, DOL, FDP, SAP all in my RRSP. If you recommend that I shift into Cons Cyclical, what would recommend as of today for my RRSP (US and CAN)?

Q: Are any of these above companies worth investing in? Also if so, at what price would be a good buy.

Q: Good afternoon;

My initial question was going to be solely about On Holdings. It is almost getting to be one of those companies that'd capture the interest of Peter Lynch, as it is showing itself across sports these days. Yet the real question is likely a bit bigger picture...

Could you provide me with your take on the "Active Wear" apparel market these days? I've provided a few names that may be competitors and there are more. All things being equal is this a sector worth investing in at this time given what seems to be lacklustre performance of many companies and "turnaroud" becoming a bit of a buzzword.

If you could also provide a best - least best top 5 to consider in this sector that would be appreciated.

Q: What do you think of NKE as a value play ? Do you think it has the potential to recover and be a good solid investment ?

Q: Hi Group can you please rate in order of your preference for short term trading not to buy and hold . Give me the ones with the most potential to grow. Most of the ones I have identified have been in the tank lately and should be ripe for some sort of recovery. Also if you have any good ideas that fit the criteria please feel free to add/rate the opportunity as you see it.

Q: There are some really beaten down stocks that have been known as "blue chip" investments over the years. Which of these stocks do you feel represent the best opportunity in order of priority buy.

Q: Many Consumer brands are under pressure but will turn around at some point soon. Any guess as to how far out? What to watch for? Could you rank and add thoughts behind your best overall pick to accumulate... Is there another company you would also consider at this time?

Q: Love to get your updated on NKE's quarter and the dropping stock (now below $90 USD) as a value play. Also, what happens to NKE stock during consumer spending recessions from the past, as all signs seem to be pointing that way for back half of 2024 and into 2025. Do you see further drops?

Q: This stock is up 3.1% YTD and 17.6% 1 Year.

Not a bad performance but certainly underperfoming the general market.

There are a lot of excellent companies on New York and Nasdaq that have a much steeper growth profile than QSR.

If you were to look at the universe of their consumer segment of the market which US company do you feel would have the highest growth potential over the next 3 years. (Other than SBUX)
