Q: What is your view of Domino's at this point in time? Do you think a smallish position is worth holding onto, or is it better to switch into another US consumer discretionary stock for a long-term hold?

Q: I'm asking for 5i's opinion on your current (5) best asset-light company ideas - Canadian and / or American - that have:

- financial stability

- strong competitive position today and into the future

- in a sector that is not threatened by disruption

- attractive valuation at today's prices

Q: Operating metrics (FCF, ROE, margins, etc.) for PAYX seem quite strong - it seems to be an asset-light business, dividend grower and compounder. However, it's at the same price as 3 years ago and has been underperforming the S&P for the same period. Am I missing something? What are your thoughts for PAYX and is it worthwhile for initiating a position at some level you would suggest?

AMD - 8.89 %
BAM - 7.76 %
BN - 12.99 %
CROX - 12.59 %
GSY - 16.11 %
IFC - 9.07 %
LMN - 12.16 %
TFII - 9.78 %
TOI - 8.86 %

In 2024 I added IFC and TFII to the portfolio. Thank you.
AMD is the only holding in the red. What is your opinion on AMD's future prospects?
Looking for ideas on where to invest the 2025 contributions. Add to an existing position or take on a new holding?

Q: Hello ,I became familiar with various US ETF in different styles ,they represent now 70% of my RRSP US portfolio .I know that the risk is "supposingly" higher with stocks .I own 7 high quality US large Cies stocks that perform well.I wish to invest in some more US individual dividend stocks that you would consider at low risk , enough to hopefully avoid considering selling them in the future.Could you name and rank,if possible 7 US stocks that would meet those criterias..thanks to your excellent team J-Y

Q: I have received my cash payment for the shares in AW.UN. I would like to reinvest the funds and was thinking of investing in either the Keg or Boston Pizza fund. Q: This stock is up 3.1% YTD and 17.6% 1 Year.

Not a bad performance but certainly underperfoming the general market.

There are a lot of excellent companies on New York and Nasdaq that have a much steeper growth profile than QSR.

If you were to look at the universe of their consumer segment of the market which US company do you feel would have the highest growth potential over the next 3 years. (Other than SBUX)

Q: Good day,

Can I get your thoughts on these two companies? I hold them both, thinking in my food-lover, simplistic way that they are in a business that will always have demand. But as I read more about investing, other than brand-recognition, they really have no moat and I question whether they are good to hold long-term.

In general. I wonder if restaurants/fast food are an investable area? If so, how do these two rate? If keeping only one, which would you choose?

Q: I did reorganise my portfolios in 2022 for a majority of diversified dividend ETFs and a minority of selected excellent dividend stocks.This strategy was satisfactory ,and I shall not sell this content in 2023.My strategy in 2023 will consider the possibility of a bear market,I shall only " add-on" some stocks on weakness .Could you list 10 canadian+10 us stocks ( not ETFs), among the safest in a bear market in your opinion,including 7 dividend stocks+3 growth stocks for each list,and rank them for safety if possible,many thanks,JY
