Q: I have self directed RRSP. It is made up of equities and fixed income investments. I have investment in 16 companies of which 10 are in the Income Model Portfolio. My goal for this account is to have safe reliable dividends with moderate capital appreciation. For the past year I have invested all dividends in money market account. The money market account now makes up 8% of my account. I am 66 years old and do not need the dividend income currently but I will be using as part of my regular income in 2 to 4 years. Would you recommend BPF.UN as part of my portfolio?

-
MTY Food Group Inc. (MTY $38.72)
Q: Hi Peter and the 5i Team,
The recent performance of QSR has been quite lacklustre to say the least. If you were buying today, in what order would you buy QSR and its major Canadian peers (AW.UN, MTY, ans BPF.UN)?
Thanks for your valuable insight.

Q: For some diversification along with some income I’m debating adding a bit more food service industry. I already own a half position of AW but would consider adding another half of same or go with a different half such as PZA, KEG.UN, BPF.UN, or SRV.UN. Thoughts
Q: Hi 5i team,
I would like to park some cash for about one year, which is better and safer ZST or BPF.UN ? Is there any better option other then these two?
Thanks,
George

Q: Pizza Pizza and Boston Pizza's price history and dividend payouts seem to have been reasonably stable for more than one year. I know you prefer AW.UN but are the other two ok for income? QSR looks too pricey and has a low dividend. What do you recommend?

Can you please compare the two funds and advise which would be more stable and have some potential for growth.. Any other suggestion in the food services industry would be welcomed. Thank you for your great service.

Q: Could I get your current view of BPF.UN. Your report in late 2023 indicated some caution.

Q: My husband is 8 years away from retirement and wants to buy dividend stocks to leave mostly alone (not checking daily like me!) - he'll check in on it now and then. This is the list he's come up with - slightly higher positions in BCE, BPF.UN and slightly lower in AW.UN, CAR.UN and OLY, otherwise fairly evenly split. Do you see this a good list for his purposes, and is there anything you would leave off, or add? Any other alarm bells? Thanks!

Q: Can you provide a 'buy' list for a person wanting to deploy $200,000 (inside RRSP) with the goal of creating 5% or more sustained cash flow - as well as growing the original capital to keep up with inflatiion? We do not have company pensions - this would serve to supplement our government pensions.
Thinking, 20 stocks across all sectors @ $10,000 each (or 5%)
Also could you include 10 growth stocks (inside TFSA) for a total of $250,000 - gotta have some fun ;)
Many Thanks
Jan

Q: I would like to buy shares in a restaurant company that stands to profit from the removal or reduction in Covid restrictions. I intend to buy this in a TFSA and hold it for a year or longer. How would you rank these companies in terms of expected overall return? Or could you recommend another company that might do better than any of these?
Q: Hi gang, what would be your choice between pizza& burgers? Looking for a long term hold 4-5 years. Thanks
