Q: Can you please comment on the breaking news after hours of the Roku cash deposits at SVB, particularly those that may be uninsured and what this means for Roku going forward. Please provide any updated opinion on Roku as a result of this developing story.

Q: Being a one time owner of SVB some time ago, now I read I am involved with them again as ROKU dropped from 70ish to 50ish over the last few days. I find out that is their bank. I imagine there are a few other tech stocks I have that bank with them. Are we in a lot of trouble for the next while? Your thoughts are appreciated.

Q: Hi, The Economist mentions in a recent article that ROKU reported that it held $487 million at SVB in a Mar 10th regulatory filing. I've sort of guessed that might be about 25% of ROKU's cash, based on number of outstanding shares and cash held per share listed on Finviz.com. Would that be a fair assumption? If so, what effect do you see this having on ROKU's share prices in the next while? I'm expecting to see them drop once the news gets out, but do not know how this might affect their overall business fundamentally or longer term. Can they withstand such a hit, if it comes down to a write off? I've listed this question as private, thinking I don't wish to add to market fears - but if you feel it would serve the 5i community best as a public question, feel free to open it up.

Q: I have small positions in the above noted companies held in my TFSA. They are all underwater and so there is no tax advantage to selling these losers. I would like to sell some or all of them and either to one or more of them or move on to some small techs that have more prospects. Can you let me know which of these you would sell hold or add to. I have small positions in these 6 stocks, all in the red - MTCH, ROKU, GNRC are in registered accounts, RBLX, UPST, ZM in non-registered. I don't find it easy to sell any stocks but in the spirit of 'pulling weeds', can I get your opinion on which of these, if any, you would sell. Any that might be worth adding to at their current valuation?

Q: Comments on Roku earnings? Up 12% before earnings today and then another 10% post-earnings after hours. Does that not look like there was a leak before the announcement? Thanks.

Q: I am down more than 50% on CRWD.US, ROKU.US, and GH.US in my RRIF and should have been paying more attention as they kept getting lower.

Is there any hope for a distinct short term (1 year) revival, or would a better plan be to sell all/any of them and invest in something with momentum.

Q: I was interrupted during my buy of ROKU last Thursday when it was below $50 and when I next looked it was $56! Ouch. I see it has earnings on Feb 15. I know you recommend buying for long term and not waiting for earnings, but I feel like it could go either way here, and a 10% rise this week is significant - do you have a recommendation regarding buying before or after in this case? Are there any US or Canadian companies you see as attractive opportunities for medium to short-term option plays? Short-term being less than a year (3-6 months, medium-term being 1-2 years. I understand these short-term price changes can really be a toss-up, but am cautiously optimistic about the market pricing in current fears and moving upwards over the next year.

Q: I currently have the following positions in the "FAANG" stocks: GOOGL (5%), MSFT and META (each less than 2%), AAPL (less than 1%).

Not interested in NFLX since I already have positions in DIS and ROKU, but I'm open to AMZN (although I have a small position in SHOP, less than 2%).

I want to reduce the number of stocks I own, so I'm looking to consolidate my FAANG positions. In what order would you rank the FAANG stocks at today's prices for potential future returns?

I have a long time horizon (decades) and a very diversified portfolio, so not worried about short-term declines in share price.
