Q: My daughter opened her first TFSA a few years ago. She is planning on using it to save for retirement, so has a very long time horizon. She has 25% in ZSP (S&P 500 ETF) and 15% in XIT (Canadian technology ETF). Together we chose some fun stocks to complete her portfolio. We are happy with most of our picks Disney (DIS), Crowdstrike (CRWD), Intuitive Surgical (ISRG), Snowflake (SNOW) and CN Rail (CN). But we are wondering about four Twilio (TWLO), Etsy (ESTY), Paypal (PYPL) and Upstart (UPST). All have dropped since she bought, but what do you think of the longer term potential of these? Would you swap any out? If so, for what?

Thanks,
Kim

Q: Please give your opinion on whether you would buy, hold or sell the companies listed. Thinking of 5 year or more time-frame.

Thanks as always,

Kevin

Q: Good day. A little over 1 year ago I allocated about 5% of my portfolio to the high growth/risk stocks. Needles to stay it hasn't worked out as expected. At this stage I am hoping that you can give me insight what the future holds for these companies as an investment. Which should be sold and subsequently move the funds moved into the keepers.
Deduct as many credits as you feel appropriate.
Much appreciated

Q: My 21 year old daughter holds Costco, Unity, Etsy and Crowdstrike in her US TFSA. Should we sell something to buy Nvidia? Or should we start over and sell more than one holding to replace with others? 5i is a great service!

Q: Friday messy fun question, please take it lightly. I would like to start reducing the oil companies I bought in April last year. They've done incredibly well, but now I would like to increase my tech growth stocks by opening 1 or 2 new positions. I currently own GOOG, DND, U, CRWD, RDFN, ROKU, VEEV, PINS, and SQ. They have done well under your recommendations even with the recent pullbacks. As no one can time the markets, I am not willing to wait for a surprise interest hike as it is part of a locked-in RSP. It would be a 10+ hold. 1) Without considering size, could you please rank your favourite top 5 companies addressed in this question as of today in terms of strong balance sheet & steady growth potential over time (even in an interest hike environment). 2) Could you please give a brief explanation for the #1 pick only. Thank you very much as always!

Q: Please name 5 companies in the USA and Canada that you think the market has punished unfairly in this tech sell off. Aggressive names with compelling fundamentals and huge growth opportunities would be the focus regardless of sector with a nod to companies with a 10 billion market cap or less. These would be companies in which the downside is fully priced in but nobody is giving them any credit for projected growth (and you believe that growth potential is substantial). If you could then pick your favourite from these in the US and Canada and add one sentence as to why I would be most appreciative!
