More recently SHOP performance has not been good. Is there any update/comment/analysis you can share with us as to why the weakness is occurring?

Has the outlook changed here? What are your thoughts please?

Q: The stock is having a bad momentum. Do you see anything that can be causing it? Downgrades?

If you had a half a position would you be adding to it?

Q: For a portfolio overweight in Tech, which would you suggest trimming? The highest weights are VGT and NVDA, with less in GOOGL and MSFT, and a small portion in each of CSU and SHOP. Thanks for all you do!

Q: I know the market is having a bad day.

CSU has hit a 52 week low, ATZ and SHOP are down 5-6%.

Yes the latter 2 have been doing very well lately, espectially ATZ but are there any other reasons these 3 are going down so dramatically vs the market , especially CSU.

Q: Hello again - I have positions in the above companies. Ahead nicely in GOOG and AMZN, doing ok in SHOP and grimly hanging on to GLBE, in a position with unusable losses. I read such great things about GOOG ( Waymo and more) and AMZN ( baking AI into retail) that I'm wondering if I should sell both SHOP and GLBE and put the proceeds evenly between the other two. I know you don't cover companies like Israel's GLBE but do you think it possible that GLBE can get up off the mat and exceed the possible gains in AMZN/GOOG, over say a three year hold. How's that crystal ball of yours working? Kindest regards

I was thinking of trimming my large position of Shop to buy some Grid. Return potential wise for say a 10yr period is this a feasible idea? My thoughts are that Grid being so much smaller might have more multi bag potential than shop at its current mega cap status.

Q: I’m doing a fairly major portfolio clean-up and account optimization exercise.
Specifically, I’m removing dividend-oriented and income-generating stocks from my TFSA and RRSP that are better suited to a non-registered account, and reallocating TFSA/RRSP capital to assets that benefit most from tax sheltering.

At a broad level, I’d appreciate your perspective on:

• Which CAD and USD names are best suited to an RRSP (e.g., U.S. dividend payers, global compounders, cyclicals, etc.)
• Which CAD and USD names are best suited to a TFSA (long-term growth, compounding, low income leakage)

I’m less interested in yield optimization and more focused on long-term after-tax efficiency and proper account placement.

If helpful, feel free to answer at a category level (e.g., “U.S. dividend aristocrats,” “Canadian compounders,” etc.) or with specific examples you think are particularly well-suited.

Q: I am down on these two companies in my TFSA, and am thinking of selling in favor of another Canadian growth company. I already own ELVA, FTG, GRID, KITS, PNG, VNP and ZDC. Which would you add to, or do you suggest adding another growth company.
