Q: I have those 4 stocks; if I had to choose one to sell, which one would you choose to sell? Thank you.

Q: I hold PBH (0.8% position) and COST (1.5%), and I realize that consolidating them is prudent. COST has been a very solid performer over time, but PBH has been performing quite well recently, after a couple of years where the share price was on a downward trajectory.

I understand each company has its attributes: with a time horizon of five years, in terms of share price appreciation, which is poised for better growth?

Q: Hello, I have been thinking about initiating a long-term position (6-10yrs) in Costco for a while now.

My long-held view of the US dollar remaining strong and stable has changed; I have resolved to continue holding my US dollar securities through whatever this is but not buy more US currency at this time.

The issue is whether to initiate a new position in:
1)COST using existing $US or
2)the Costco CDR in Canadian $

Which option, in your opinion, represents the best risk-adjusted return over the next:
A)6-10 years?
B)1-5 years?

Does your response for A) change for beyond 10 years?

I know there are way too many variables here for any ‘correct’ answers but it is still interesting to have 5i’s perspective.

Q: BN is sitting at 7.5%, AXON - BKNG are 5% and the rest are 3% positions totaling approx. 83% of my stock assets. I have some 1-2% positions in my cash account (GSY, ATZ, PRL, CLBT, HPS.a, BNS,SU, TMDX, TVK and CNQ. I'm heavy tech, financials and industrials going into H2 2025. Would you add to, remove or change anything is this was your account (assuming you're 52 and plan to retire in 8 years). Q: Hi group the above stocks i sold 1/2 of my folio about 3 months ago/ yes at a tidy profit. My question is I am 75 years old and have $100,000 to reinvest (20% of my total portfolio)...(dry power) i do not need any cash to supplement my income for at least 5 years unless the market falls of a cliff because of Trump/Tariffs. I would say I am a sleep at night investor So the question is what to do now wait or start nibbling now. These stocks make up about 70% of the total portfolio

Q: My mortgage is coming due at a much higher rate than it has been for the past 5 years, so given the current economic uncertainty, I’ve decided to sell half of my unregistered portfolio to pay it off. I understand this will incur tax, and I’m prepared for that. Here are my holdings—please advise on the optimal order of selling to ensure the remaining portfolio is defensive, particularly against tariffs and economic uncertainty. I'm open to the cheese slicer method across some or all stocks. Please deduct credits as you see fit. Thank you!
