Q: The two least profitable stocks in my entire portfolio are SIS (up an anemic 6% after two years) and PBH (up 10% in the same time period). I'd like to replace both with something growthier - but here's the catch - I want similar dividends (+/- 1%) and I want Canadian replacements in the same sector. My only other Consumer Defensive is COST. Current industrials are WSP, HPS.A, J, and TFII. I would welcome your speculation on how SIS and PBH are likely to grow this year...and what potential replacements might be. Thank you.

Q: I own these three stocks for consumer defensive:

L - half position
PBH - full position
Costco - half position

The analytics tool is telling me I'm low on consumer defensive. Would you just add to L and Cost or would you add another name?

Thanks,
Robert

Q: Good morning, Which Stocks do you guys believe should benefit the most with the rising cost of living and many people having to turn to cheaper retail and grocery stores for example. Would stores like Costco and Dollarama be a couple of obvious examples, thanks?

Q: Can you please provide your outlook for Costco in light of their recent reporting. A per your portfolio tracking, it is up 48% in the last year - do you see share price continuing its impressive run? Your company reports has its P/E (at 43) at its near its peak in the last 5 years and P/B is at 12....are these concerning? Can you shed light on how its balance sheet will be situated after the special dividend? Many thanks for your excellent service.

I am considering the above stocks for my RRSP. Please advise if these stocks are considered Dividend US Equity investments and rank the stocks in order of preference for a 5 year hold.
In my RRSP Direct Investing account, I have the option of converting CDN funds to US funds before purchasing US stocks. Would you recommend converting CDN funds to US funds before purchasing US stocks?

Q: According to portfolio tracking and analysis, I am short on basic materials, consumer cyclical, consumer defensive, health care and industrials. I’m also significantly short on international equities. With this in mind, can you provide your top 3 to 5 companies for each sector to increase my holdings in basic materials, consumer cyclical, consumer defensive, health care and industrials. To increase my exposure in international equities, I will be investing in ETFs. Please provide and rank the top 5 ETFs with international exposure. Thank you.
