Q: It’s starting to feel like 2008 but for the tech stocks. How do you currently feel about shopify? It seems quite irrational that it’s trading at lower valuations than pre-pandemic. Almost as if the pandemic didn’t boost their revenues by many multiples

Q: Good morning, I kept almost all my growth stocks thinking I'll ride it down as usual but it's a bit worst than I thought, instead should have trimmed more to the like of NVDA and SHOP and a few others. Down over 12.6% from high so far. Everything seems to being priced for recession. Panic selling has not started yet just a slow drift down. Market could go down considerably more from here. Like 10 to 20% and we won't hear the bell.
Starting to get jittery. Your view on this assumption please?

Q: We have new money to invest and would like to use it to correct our only significant sector weighting imbalance, which is in technology. The sector is currently represented by CSU, DSG, KXS and SHOP, where all but CSU are down.

5i has often stressed the importance of both maintaining target sector weights and not leaving too much cash idle. Now we find ourselves with the technology sector struggling and would like some guidance on how to proceed.

For the existing positions, which are long term holds, would you be inclined to spread out the additional investments over the medium term, say the next 6-12 months, or would you tend to be more aggressive, investing in the shorter term?

How would you rate (1-10) CSU, DSG, KXS and SHOP for additional money today?

If we were to initiate long term positions in TOI, TIXT, NVEI and LSPD today, how would you rate them?

Q: These 2 darlings are now ugly ducklings. Not long ago,Shop was the biggest company in Canada overtaking perrinnel leader,RY. Recent drastic drop from $2228 H to $658,1year Low.Any reasons for the 14% haircut today besides news that it is in talks to buy startup,Deliverr. Think market does not like this type of acquistion nowadays as it will likely increase its losses & prolong its plan to profitability in this market backdrop.Is this a entry point or more pain to come. Q: I notice in your answer to Jacques ISD about what "buy and forget" stocks you would suggest in the US and Canada, conspicuously SHOP is missing from that list.
