Q: Hello Peter and Team. I am about to open a new TFSA account with almost 100K. Time frame of 5-8 years. Could you please recommend 4-6 growth/income stocks with 1or 2 ETF’s?

I was thinking BN, VFV, EIT.UN, TVK. Any other recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks for the amazing service. Brian

Q: Your analysis of the company as a transportation sector. Its quality of earning as operating in Transportation sector. How you see it being a small cap stock in transportation sector where big players are TFI:T, CNR:T or CP:T? Is it good small cap to keep for future growth.

Q: I am setting up a TFSA for my wife. I have been managing my own TFSA for 7 years but my wife has maintained her account with a BMO investment advisor. We also both have RIFs managed by the same advisor. My TFSA has far outperformed the accounnts managed by the professional (thanks to your advice) but my wife is very risk adverse. She has about $100 K to invest. We are both in our 70s and don't have pressing needs for the cash. Could you. suggest a basket of Canadian/US stocks/etfs that would provide some low risk growth with a 10 year horizon.

I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and Thank you for all you do for us.
I recently bought some Honeywell (HON)shares thinking that the spinout that they announced was a good move. I was comparing them to Fortive (FTV) (Not many past questions on this company) and now I am not sure if they are the better vehicle. Could you please weigh in on this and if needed, add any other name thar you may like more. I am not worried about tax implications of selling. Which direction would you take if it was your portfolio?

Q: Notwithstanding the capital gains tax implications, would you kindly rank the above GAS and OIL stocks in order of PREFERENCE and SECTOR (Gas stocks and Oil stocks) to continue holding for the long term and to help me decide on which stock to sell in order to raise cash for an upcoming major purchase. Q: How does one know if they are "catching a falling knife" vs. buying a stock at a good price? For instance, I've been following DRX and the stock has been falling consistently for several months now. 5i has often recommended buying stocks that are establishing new 52-week highs and recognizing positive momentum, but has also continued to recommend DRX.
