Q: Sold TIXT in tfsa (11 equities) as do not want to hold Telus in this growth leaning account as I already have some in cash account oriented mostly towards dividend paying growth equities. So looking at which of my “better” remaining tfsa holdings to add to for next 18 to 24 months: lmn, tvk, dsg, drx or eqb or do I consider something new like png, vhi or zdc? I am long retired and survive on a DB pension.

Q: I currently hold ADF Group and Propel holdings in my TFSA. I am considering selling these and adding to Galaxy Digital and Zedcor, which I have very small positions in. The objective would be better growth. I would appreciate your comments.

Q: What do you do about a stock like DRX? It has signed a nice contract which has caused the stock to pop 20%. Looking back to 2024, the stock had a nice run, got hit by tariff news and was trending down 9 months and now its getting its mojo back. The downtrend has broken to the upside now and fundamentals have turned positive. What are your thoughts going forward and do you see an investor re-entering the stock?

In general, when you see a company like this rocket higher, get dragged down by fundamentals/external factors (tariffs, etc) and now are recovering, how do you approach these kind of situations? Would you be a buyer again now and do you see the stock heading back up to its old highs? Thanks!

Q: Hi, I got in when it was supposedly cheap, at about $12.80. It's now hovering at around $8. As a non-resident, selling for tax losses doesn't apply. As you wrote recently that you're not fans of investing to break even, do you have any opinions on possible moves? Sell some at a loss to invest in better stocks, hold for a while and see what happens with tariffs, hold for a longer period of time as this is a good stock and we'll pay off over the next couple years? Thank you for your time.

Q: In my TFSA I have held WELL for 4 years and now considering selling along with DRX. Would selling these 2 and replacing with ISRG make sense for better growth.

Q: Considering taking a 28% hit on Hammond to buy 5000 shares of DRX at 8$ as a way to diversify my risk on my aggressive part of my portfolios. Will still have 2500 of Hammond after selling 500. Your thoughts please. much appreciated. Larry

Q: Hi 5i,

I've read through your previous comments on the company and I was wondering:

1) What do you perceive as the key drivers to this company's performance?
2) What do you think explains the rollercoaster that the share price has gone through?
3) What should I pay attention to if I want to decide whether the company will right the ship and re-establish its momentum?

Thanks!

Q: Hi 5i, I was listening to a steel analyst stating that "value added steel manufacturers" like Russel metals would be exempt from steel tarrifs. I realize the companies that actually make steel and the steel outputs for downstream manufacturing will be taxed. If this is true then aren't companies like the one mentioned or DRX or HPS also exempt? Now if anything manufactured in Canada is taxed then all bets are off.

Thx
