Q: I have been considering selling the following companies for tax loss. Do you think they are reasonable candidates? Or do you think there is too much bounce potential going into 2026. Would you be able to rank them in the order you would consider selling them from most attractive for tax loss to least. Thank you.
John

Q: I plan to convert most of my stock holdings into ETF's by Dec 15/ 28. The highlighted stocks are in my TFSA with significant loses due to poor timing increasing positions. Would you hang in there or cut bait and move on. For the names you would kiss goodbye, please suggest a more stable proxy. Thank you

Q: Down 30% on MDA, its been frustrating with the news of contract losses in the last few months, etc... Can you compare MDA vs TSAT. Would look to either fully sell MDA or trim MDA and buy some TSAT as a tax loss proxy. MDA still has good rev growth and backlog and you seem to like TSAT as you recently added more. What would you do? Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter,
Given the current valuations and the growth projection (or lack of), which two of these four stocks will most likely to have the least possibility of year end bounce and thus are ideal for tax loss selling? MDA, TRI, SRAD, or GLXY. Do you see any of these worth repurchasing for a 2 year hold after the 30 days period? Thanks.

Q: Hi again,
Just submitted a question about MDA that wasn't well proofread and below is the question as it should have been - I hope you can substitute the corrected version before publishing. Thanks!

Hi 5i,
What are your thoughts on the earnings report issued this morning? To me it looked good, but for a dearth of free cash - is that observation correct and, if so, is it a concern?
Also:
After the last big price drop based on the Globalstar rumour, MDA management wrote:

"MDA Space is monitoring fluctuations in our share price that appear to be the result of unconfirmed and speculative media reports related to mergers and acquisitions in our customer base. As a matter of policy, MDA Space does not comment on rumours or speculation. MDA Space management will provide a full update on its business outlook as part of our next regularly scheduled earnings release on November 14, 2025."

I was looking forward to reading MDA's response to potential loss of contracts this morning, but it's "full business outlook" didn't address the issue at all - although the issue certainly hasn't gone away. Again, cause for concern?
Thanks,
Peter

Also please included a buyable rating for each from 10 down to 1 with 10 being a great buy and 1 not at this time.
