Q: I love investing in the market but was curious about what vehicle you guys would park cash in a TFSA account if you had to. GIC? Money market? Those are the only ideas I have but maybe you could educate me on other choices pros and cons. Thanks.
Q: HI

Q: What do you think of ifc latest results.
Q: I have done well on PHO, thank you! I have a large position and considering to trim it to lock some gains and keep a normal position for a possible upgrade to the offer.
With the correction occuring, i'm looking to invest the gains somewhere else when the market cooldown. I'm mostly following the growth portfolio and considering these stocks :
- ATA : I have an half position
- DOL
- GDI
- TRI
- AC
- MG
- TFII
- NVEI
How would rank them? Feel free to add better suggestions (canadian stocks).

Q: One of the largest tech crashes .com bubble in the Nortel days took years for these companies that survived to get back to where they were. The same thing is happening today probably on a smaller scale. Would it not be better to get out of these and into something else or into cash as they just fall day in and day out? Or, do you think by the end of the summer will they have bottomed out and have some encouraging results? Waiting for your guidance. Thank you.
Q: What is a growth focused investor to do in this market? I understand the shift and aversion from high growth/tech names into value stocks and the fears of higher inflation/rates affecting markets going forward are hard to predict in duration. Many growth companies are reporting solid earnings, however are still falling with the market backdrop. With a 5% cash weighting currently and as I see some of my position weights in my growth stocks decrease because of this market drop, does one A) increase exposure now to value names and sectors that could benefit in the short term such as materials, industrials, energy or B) further add to quality growth names if one has a longer horizon (8-10+ yrs) such as WELL, LSPD, VEEV, TOI, NVEI, U, DOCU, CRWD and just ignore this short term shift in sentiment? I just don't want to be catching a falling knife in some of these growth names but I see some great entry prices to add a bit at these levels with them being 30-40% off from the recent highs. Thoughts?
Q: Curious on your thoughts with Gentex. Wondering if it's a buy at current price and outlook going forward.
Thanks Tom

Q: As I watch the growth stocks in my portfolio get crushed I can't help but also feel excited at the buying opportunities that are being created for others I thought I had missed. With the Nasdaq only 1200 points off its high and companies like TWST (down 57%), LMND (down to 60%) or BOMN (down 50%) or NVTA (down 55%) it is undeniable that many of these stocks have been revalued.
My question pertains both to these specific companies and smaller caps in general. Do you think companies like these are close to finding a floor meaning that it is time to start buying in tranches as they inch down or do you consider it more likely that we need a major sell off and full capitulation?
With these specific companies, what would be an entry price that makes sense for each for the first 1/2 and then a full position. (ie buy a 1/2 of LMND at 75 and then full at 60 if it gets there).

Q: AVEO Oncology share price jumped after it got FDA approval for
FOTIVDAŽ (tivozanib) around 2 months ago. It ramped up for this by securing capital, and issued new equity, @ $ 8.00 which was fully subscribed, including all offered additional shares. New Director appointed who seems to be quite an authority on cancer research.
Unfortunately. the Share price dropped after the spike on approval, and has fallen back to old levels. what seems to be the problem ? When do you think, if at all, the price will reach the lofty levels recommended by the Analysts covering it.
Thanks and Appreciate all the advise and guidance you and your team provides.

Q: My understanding is that shareholders of PHO will receive$3.60 per share if the buyout goes through. is there any reason to hold onto Pho right now given that the buyout is for $3.60 and this is what other traders seem to be willing to pay right now? there were a lot of asks vs bids today. I'm not sure why someone would want to buy Pho knowing that the maximum they will receive is $3.60. can you please shed some light on this?
thanks for your help
