Q: Hi team ,
Once again Pinterest is crashing. I was hopeful things were on the uptrend with the name lately. Is this another earnings over reaction? I thought the Amazon partnership was quite interesting for transforming the platform into a e-commerce enabled site…potentially very lucerative once it gets going. But, market not liking results. Should I keep patience with this name or dump? Part of the reason I was holding was I believed this name will be taken over at some point at a much higher share price.

Q: Hi 5i Team,

I’m down on all the above stocks as follows CRWD Down 36%, ETSY down 40%, PINS down 52%, PYPL down 64%, SQ down 72% and U down 77%.

With a 2 to 3 year horizon which of these are worth holding and which once I should sell and can you suggest US replacements and not necessarily in the same asset class. Just good stable companies that have good growth potential to outperform the indexes.

Take as many credits as you feel necessary.

Q: Hi, and thanks for all the advice.

I own the following in a unregistered account.
I'm in the red for all of them, BMBL down 59%, ETSY down 30% and PINS down 58%. They have all moved quite nicely in the last month so not sure to hang or or sell.
Do you think that these stocks will recover within 2 years or should I be looking to sell some or all and replace them with something else.
Please list what I should be selling and what I should be replacing them with.
Also your reasons for the swap and a good entry point.

Q: Hello 5i,

I have small 0.8% positions, in both PINS and APPS, in an unregistered account.

Looking for advice on possible consolidation:

1) Consolidate APPS into PINS
2) Consolidate PINS into APPS
3) Consolidate both APPS and PINS into TTD, PERI or MELI.
4) Do nothing.

5+ year time-frame with high risk tolerance.

Q: Over the past two years with the downturn of the market, I am down significantly with majority of these holdings in various accounts. I have a long-term 10+ year outlook, so looking to see if you feel any of these can be sold off given the outlook, management of the company? Could you provide an indication as to buyhold/sell - all are current holdings but some due to declines have reduced to < 1% . I'm looking to rebalance overall and these need addressing with possibly topping up, selling or doing nothing ... ignore sector weights please. Already held for some time and any that I decide will remain will be held for the long term
