Q: Recently I asked a question about premium brands. When I thought my question wasn't answered I re-asked the question. However I was too fast and you did answer my original question. So I apologize for being too hasty. My next question relates to the app. I have a new tablet and am having no luck in finding the app on Google playstore. Any suggestions? Q: Magna, Parkland, and Premium Brands have seen significant declines, making them look like attractive dividend stocks with yields around 4%. What do you think about buying them for their dividends? Is there a risk that these stocks could fall further? Which one would be the best to buy for its dividend and potential recovery, and which one should I avoid? Please rank them.

Q: Hello 5i
I just noticed that in answer to a question you have put adt.ca ahead of premium brands in its category as a favourite pick. I have been worried that adt direction may be looking for a big way to make their mark in their acquisition. I have wondered whether that would bring them to abandon their usual caution. I hold pbh at now, a quite small capital gain and have been thinking about selling it. Just wondering what makes you so confident about this deal. And also, whether it is good enough to make the switch?

Q: I have held PBH for 5 years now. I like the increasing dividend and have seen a small amount of capital increase as well. I just added to my position. They are forecasting an increase in sales and EBITA of 50% or so over the next 3 years. With all the capex being spent on expansions some of this should help expand the margins as well. If this all works out I expect there is a reasonable chance of good capital expansions in the future as well as the dividend increases I have been getting. Any thoughts.

Q: I have a 1% position in PBH, and an extra 1% cash to deploy: I am debating between doubling my PBH position to 2%, or selling PBH and initiating a 2% position in COST. My time horizon for this investment is quite long (greater than five years): which would seem to be the more prudent choice?

Q: Hello,

I am considering investing in PBH as it checks off the right boxes and it is one of your favorites.
However, looking at other similar co's MTY & MFI they seem to offer similar dividends and growth, tgey are both also trading close to the same lower range as PBH.
Could you provide insight on why these are lagging the food retailers who are trading at highs.
