Q: I will have the cash shortly to add a new position in the income portfolio. Which of ADN, EIF or QSR would you add right now and why.

Q: I did reorganise my portfolios in 2022 for a majority of diversified dividend ETFs and a minority of selected excellent dividend stocks.This strategy was satisfactory ,and I shall not sell this content in 2023.My strategy in 2023 will consider the possibility of a bear market,I shall only " add-on" some stocks on weakness .Could you list 10 canadian+10 us stocks ( not ETFs), among the safest in a bear market in your opinion,including 7 dividend stocks+3 growth stocks for each list,and rank them for safety if possible,many thanks,JY

Q: If I invested in a saving account for my son and daughter in the Royal Bank, Enbridge and Berkshire for 15 years, would this approach work? My daughter is 16 and my son is 14.

Q: PLC has gone sideways this ytd compared to most of my holdings that have moved back up. It is one of my smaller holdings so wondering if it is a good time to top it up to a full position or move on to other names in the income portfolio with higher yields, likely split in BCE, TMX and SLF.

Q: Is QSR still a buy at this level? Do you have a preference between it and AW for a 5-year hold?

I’m thinking of selling MED and adding to the balance of my cyclical positions. What are your thoughts on this portfolio of companies and which ones look most attractive today to add to?

For defensive, I only hold Costco. What companies would you suggest I look to diversify my defensive portfolio?

Q: Hello, folks,
I currently own Magna but, considering recent events/performance and murkier outlook, am exploring possibly making a switch. I am looking at CTC.A, LNF, and QSR. Please indicate order of preference for a 5-year hold and short explanation of rationale.
I'd be open to suggestions of other stocks in the Consumer Cyclical space with >3% dividend if you think there are better options.

Can you list a few U.S. stocks with attractive Free cash flow Yields ( using EV instead of MCAP) preferably with stable cash flows, that trade at attractive Forward P/E ratios.
Looking also for a decent dividend. I was pondering IBM, their interest coverage looks decent, but their Total Debt/EBITDA looks a bit high at 4.0x

I hold FSV, QSR and BKNG. which are in the same fields.

I've never been a fan, as they seem to bounce from one crisis to another and have been stuck in a trading range until the recent hiring of Mr. Doyle; the trading range so far appears just slightly higher. There seems to be lot of investment advisor/analyst support at odds with my view. I am rethinking this position in my portfolio now I've no advisor, and am trying to decide if this one is worth keeping in my Consumer Cyclical group (currently underrepresented overall). I am interested in growth with this stock more than the dividend. Would appreciate your thoughts as it resides in your Income Portfolio. If not QSR then what is a plan B in this sector? Thanks very much.
