Q: Hi Group in what order (best first) would you add top 5 out of this group also what stocks would fit well into TSFA (have $28,000 room . Also time to bail out on CSU and GSY down 25,000 on GSY and $30,000 on CSU thanks for you help

Q: Hi, Sorry there are lot of companies listed but in summary this is three part question:

1. I have BAM2%,BN9%,BEP5%. I was thinking of putting new money to KKR or BX or APO. Should i add new money to existing positions or to new positions. Which one and approx. price please.

2. All the listed are in red in various taxable and registered accounts. Which one is good candidate for new money , which one would be sell and hold.

3. ISRG is at 1.5%. Should i go to 5% in one shot or go slowly or just hold on . This is in taxable account.

Q: I own both BEP and BEPC in my US Dollar TFSA.
Is the price action generally the same for both?
Would you expect total return to be the same (incl. taxes)?
If yes, which one would choose to consolidate and keep?

Q: want to raise some cash(tech breaking down technically) in what order would you sell the above listed stocks bearing some are winners and some are losers so what your recommendation sell winners or losers first without getting in to too much specifics. CSU as an example sell now to claim loss or then buy back after 30 days FFH on the other hand is up 60% so sell now and hope to buy back later at lower price. what would you do? Remember i want to raise cash so how would you approach this rebalancing ...thanks for your help

Q: Brookfield and related entities. What percentage of total portfolio would YOU be comfortable holding. Right now I am at about 13% including BN, BAM, BEP, BIP and BIPC all held in a USD non-reg account. BN is largest holding in Portfolio.

Q: I own BN with no intention of selling, but I find the dividends of the other Brookfield's interesting for my RRSP account with the potential of some capital growth as well. I know this type of question has been asked in the past, but not since the market downturn. Would you see a benefit of owning any of the others along with BN, and if so, which ones, and what would your total percentage of Brookfield holdings be. Thanks!

Q: Hi group can you please comment on Capitol direct trust - last quarter they paid out 9% + over last 3 yrs they have averaged 7+ %. What is your assessment of the risk rewards in this sector i suspect that restrictions on liquidly and management fees are concerns but the attractive quarterly payout are very attractive in this unstable market overall your thoughts please. I am 74 and retired so steady income is a driver. Also please rate the above stocks (1-10 . 10 being best) Thanks for your help

Q: In an earlier question you mentioned that although you disliked giving targets for entry points, you suggested $37 for BEP. That's $10. below its current price: does this mean that you expect further drops? My concern is only that, because of my age, time in the market is limited, so waiting for recovery is less feasible than it was when I was younger.

Q: In any otherwise well diversified RIF portfolio I am considering exiting T and BEP.

I am looking to replace them with a couple of holdings that you feel have far greater upside in the next 3-5 years (realizing that the volatility may increase to some extent but in line with the potential for greater returns).

I have referred to several of your current favourites (which we do not currently hold) as potentials and am open to other suggestions you might have along the same lines.

If you could comment on the elimination of T and BEP and also if you believe any of the listed ones (or others ) would provide a substantially better risk/rewad profile over the next 3-5 years it would be appreciated.

Q: Up to mid 2019, this stock was cruising on a gradual increase, then it doubled over the next 18 months. Now, some 38 months later, it is approaching where it was before it's 18 month growth spurt. I believe that you said the stock benefitted from increased interest in green energy, and that now that interest has waned. Would there be any more to describe the drop of some 42% over the past 3 years? Do you think the 6.3% dividend will be cut again? Thank you very much for your valuable perspective.

Q: Hello 5i,
I am considering purchasing BEP:US to meet my P.A. targets for both Sector (Utilities) and Geography (U.S. & International).
In researching BEP, all I could find was one pie chart that indicated its geographical footprint as being 50% U.S., 35% Canada, and 15% Brazil.
While this will work for me, my question is "how accurate is that as a geographical breakdown?" It seems to be all I could find.
Can you offer any other suggestions for Utilities with a greater U.S./International bent? U.S.-denominated is preferred - as is a comparable dividend...

Q: I'm looking at BIP and BEP primarily for dividend reliability and some growth. According to Morningstar, they both have very low return on assets (somewhat understandable given that they are very asset heavy) but also return on equity.

Normally, that would be enough for me to avoid the stock but they are both generally well thought of by analysts. What am I missing?
