Q: Hello 5i Team,

Could you please suggest 20 Canadian and/or U.S. stocks for a "buy and hold" portfolio in an RRSP with average-to-above-average risk and a 5+ year timeframe.

Feel free to subtract as many credits as you see fit.

Q: The following stocks have fallen below 1% in my portfolio.

From your previous answers/responses I assume it is best not to add to these?

Since they are under 1% is it best to sell, or is it best to stay the course and see if they recover over time.

They are all in registered accounts so no tax losses.

As well I have very small position in BAM due to the split. I have added to BN. Should I just let the small position ride or is it best to sell and add to BN or something else?

Q: I need to liquidate some equities to be able to pay out my RMD. I am inclined to sell the above 2 stock (NVEI and PBH), seeing only downward momentum compared to the other equities (above) I have that show steady or upward momentum. Might you agree?

Q: I have held the above stocks in my open account for several years. All stocks have shown a positive return except for BNS which is down approximately 20%. I have some cash to invest in the market and would like to purchase additional shares in some of these companies for a 3 to 5 year investment. Q: Hi Peter/Ryan, in my RRSP account I have 100 shares of BN and received 25 shares of BAM . BAM as you know has the better dividend. Would it be wise to sell the 100 shares of BN and by the same amount of BAM, just wondering. Thanks, Nick

Each of these stocks represent between 2-3 1/2 % of my
portfolio.
Thinking of boosting some up to between 4 1/2 to 5%.
None are at a loss.
Any thoughts of an order to do this?

Q: I currently own full positions in BEP.UN and BIP.UN in a diversified dividend income portfolio. I have considered buying BN as well, but am not sure that increasing my Brookfield concentration is warranted. What are your views?

I think BN represents the best total return opportunity in the next five year.
Is it wise to consolidate into BN now.
