Q: Appreciate u 12 tips today. Too many for me to buy now.Has lots of the big 6 can.banks & Qst (similar to Xbc).Please give me best 5 to buy.Txs for u usual great services & views. FYI China moves to impose HK security law causing drops in Asian markets esp HK( down 4.84% now) as well as US futures(Dow now down 139 after earlier up some 108)

Q: Hi All:

With the negative feeling about banks for loan loss, etc. I wonder if I should let go either TD or RY or both and take the loss, then watch to buy back later. the total market value is about 3.7% of my total portfolio, and each one is almost equal in market value. The loss in TD is 19+% and RY 15+%. I also own NA with a gain and only 1.5+% in my portfolio.

Q: Hi 5i - I have been thinking of starting a half position in Apple, looking at a 3-5 year hold. Do you think the timing is OK or would I be better to add to my current holding in Alphabet which is only a quarter position. Or should I hold off and wait for another market dip. Thanks,

Q: Comments on earnings for MDT please. Should I top up a 2% position? The only other healthcare stock I own is GUD. What other healthcare stock (US) would you add currently?
Also a comment on your service. It has paid for itself many times over! Just yesterday saved $1200 by using Norberts gambit. Something I would not have done if not for being part of the 5i community. Thanks for educating the individual investor.

Q: Hi group I believe that Tech + health + gold will be the leaders when we come out of recession. Can you give me a list of 2 ETFs for each sector along with 2 individual stocks you like for Canada + USA. Am also interested you take on my sectors that will lead the recovery and should I start picking away or wait ??? (I believe the market are vastly overbought and does not factor in the economic reality that the virus is going to do to the market. Please deduct credits at your discretion.

Q: I am an income oriented investor looking to start withdrawing dividend 5 years from now. If I am looking for a good US high dividend ETF, is SPYD a good choice? I have a small portion, but unsure if I should build it to be a core holding. I liked it because it selects 80 high dividend paying companies from S&P 500. I also have SCHD in my portfolio. There is a small overlap between the two. If SPYD is not good for core holding, can you suggest alternates?

Q: Hi 5i,
We are older retirees and have held ZWB and ZWH
in our RRIFs for income for many years. I just ran a Quicken report on performance and neither performed particularly well. I am about to switch ZWB for ZEB and ZWH for VGG. We can live without the monthly covered call income and I am assuming the replacements will outperform the covered call ETFs in a recovery. Your comments or suggestions are welcome. Q: Hello Peter and Crew,

Could you please comment on these two stocks that were in favour for a while last year, but as much in 2020. Still worth holding to see where they go? They have bounced from the bottom, but certainly not as much as others in comparable spaces.
