Q: Looking to add a health care etf. Which one might you suggest? Would the major difference in performance between the XHC and the other 2 be the currency hedging?

Q: I've held PFZ for a long time in my RRSP (now RRIF) and my US account. The 10-year return is low. Is there an ETF that could replace this security in my US account and RRIF?
I'd like to improve the return and understand if there are any negative tax impacts.

Q: I own VHT (etf) in my $US account. Performance over the last 5 years has been approx. 6% compounded annually. Poor compared to tech or the S&P500 index or the DJIA. Given little opportunity to invest in health care sector in Canada, what investment alternatives would you suggest for health care? Or would I be better off exiting VHT and putting the money into other low-cost ETFs in the US like SPY, VOO, VUG ?

Q: VHT is hitting some lows, being effected by UNH which is a 4.7% position of the fund. Do you see upside from here, or is it a cautionary sector right now? How do you see the sector going forward? Thinking of stepping in as my healthcare part of portfolio is low. Thanks.

Q: I have several 'Growth' companies which have grown quite large in both Cdn and US markets (Thanks). While I plan to let winners run, I am looking to take some capital out of those, and shift to areas of the market which are trading below their historical averages. Could you suggest some areas of both US and Canada to look for those areas? (Specific companies or ETFs which would target this both welcome)

Q: Hi.

Can you recommend fixed income ETFs, on US and/or international markets in the following areas:

- Technology
- Industrials
- Health care
- Consumer cyclical

In addition, I have a great amount of Magna International stocks (equivalent to 45% of my RRSP portfolio), that had a significant devaluation in the last 2 years. What is your recommendation? To hold, sell...?

Q: I Have exposure to all the sectors in TSX index in my non-registered account. All my investments are in Canadian companies except technology and health sector. I chose American equities for health sector because I did not think Canadian sector was true health sector. Instead I bought IBB-Q and VHT-A. What do think of my strategy? Q: I currently own XHC.

I see that VHT has a lot lower MER. Does it make sense to make a switch?
I assume VHT is more North America while XHC is global?

Also have about 4% in ABBV in an Registered Account with a 52% return. (thank your;)
Would it make sense to cut this down to 2% and add LLY?

LLY has had quite a run the last couple of years and that can be scary. Does LLY have a good runway?

Q: I am looking for new healthcare stocks after selling Lantheus and InMode in the last 6 months. I currently own WELL. Quite a few have had a good run up lately so not sure if they are good buys at current valuations. What are recommendations? US or CAD, doesn’t matter. Should I buy an ETF instead?
