Q: I would like to add more healthcare to both my Canadian and US portfolios. I am OK with ETF's, or, good stocks that you like. I currently own small positions in NBLY and WELL, so I would be looking for something outside of those two companies. My timeframe for the investment is long-term (10+ years).

Q: I have historically held my investments in mutual funds through a financial advisor. I subscribed to 5i Research approximately 3 years ago and made my first investments in equities and an ETF based primarily upon information obtained from 5i Research. The returns on VGRO ETF and my equities have been 2 to 4 times the gain for my mutual funds. I recently upgraded my subscription to include Portfolio Analytics. Based upon portfolio analytics, my current portfolio is reasonably well balanced with recommendations to add healthcare and industrials as well as some international exposure. I have cash on hand that I want to invest. I will hold my investments for the next 5 to 10 years. I am looking at purchasing some additional equities and an ETF with good growth potential at moderate risk. Please provide top 10 recommendations with rankings for stocks that I should consider adding to my portfolio. Please provide recommendations for top 5 ETFs with rankings that I should consider adding to my portfolio. What is your current view on VGRO? Would you suggest topping up my investment in VGRO?

Q: Hi can you recommend some healthcare etf funds that trade on the NYSE or NASDAQ, I need exposure in this sector, looking for:
1. Growth based funds with some dividend income
2. Dividend income with lower volatility

Q: Where do you see the greatest value in the market these days? Cdn Banks always seem like a go to when in doubt, ZWU also seems reasonably priced. Any thoughts on ETF's or specific companies that are positioned well? Thanks as usual.

Q: RE; Healthcare,
I currently have a limited amount of healthcare exposure in my portfolio and looking to build the allocation. I hold some MDT in my US account, I have been adding to that holding on dips. Q: Hi group I believe that Tech + health + gold will be the leaders when we come out of recession. Can you give me a list of 2 ETFs for each sector along with 2 individual stocks you like for Canada + USA. Am also interested you take on my sectors that will lead the recovery and should I start picking away or wait ??? (I believe the market are vastly overbought and does not factor in the economic reality that the virus is going to do to the market. Please deduct credits at your discretion.

Q: Hello Peter,
I'm interested in investing in biotechnology stocks (you know, the ones who will stop the next plague!), but don't want to 'stock pick'. Can you please suggest an ETF that focus on that sector. (I'm partial to Vanguard ETFs, if possible.)

Q: We currently hold ZQQ at 8%, ZUH at 3.5% and VGG at 19% of equities. For diversification, we need to increase investment in technology and healthcare. We are considering the unhedged ZNU (unhedged technology) and ZHU (unhedged US healthcare). Please give us your opinion on these or possible alternatives.

Q: Hi 5i team,
Canadian financials account for 24% of our portfolio and 2% of this is in MFC in my TFSA account. I've held it for a number of years and I am up 50%. Presently, our total holdings are 60% Canada; 30% US and 10% International. I am thinking of selling MFC and replacing it with a US ETF or a fairly safe growth stock. I only have 1% in healthcare (split evenly between VHT and UNH in TFSA account) and am considering topping up based on MFC sale. Would appreciate your thoughts on this move. Thanks.
