Q: What do you think of investing in this company at the current time? The national post ran an article today about the weight loss benefits of Ozempic. And to maintain the weight loss, one needs to take it for life. Do you think this opportunity has already been priced into the stock? Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks

Q: Are the CJT results today as bad as the market reactions so far? CJT is a thinly traded stock and SP over reaction to any news is the norm. What's your take on the results? Thanks.
Q: I hold these Brookfield Infrastructure preferred which currently pay 5% but reset March 31, 2023 at 6.642%. I can happily continue to hold these, but alternatively I have the option to convert them to Series 10 Preferred which will pay a floating Rate of 3% above the Government of Canada 3 month Treasury Bills, reset quarterly. This will be set for the first quarter to June 30 at 7.564%.
I suppose it's a gamble on what interest rates are likely to do over the next 5 years; but do you have any thoughts on which option I should choose?

Q: Good morning and happy Friday.
Here is a fun little exercise, if you had 1 million $ concentrated portfolio of 5-10 stocks and had a goal of an average 6%-8% return annually via combination of dividend and capital appreciation of holdings what stocks would you own? Canadian holding, and combo Canadian/U.S.A holdings. So 2x portfolio examples.
I realize this is just for fun and not financial advice. Thank you for the years of great service.

Q: Hello 5i,
Could you please rank these companies from a growth perspective for a higher risk portion of my portfolio? Also maybe brief comments on the four highest ranked?
Thank you
Dave

Q: The latest quarter news release seems to show a large loss from swap contracts. Also, seems to have recurred throughout the year. What does that mean exactly, and will this loss continue? What do you think of the quarter overall?
Q: Hi (again) 5i,
Thanks for your answer to my question on CTS earlier today, which I appreciate. Just some quick follow up: You write that CTS is likely worth holding "at least until completion of the review". If a sale of CTS - which would be very public information - is not negotiated, when would it be known that the review has been completed? Would that be required disclosure in the first quarterly report after the review terminated, or is that something management can keep under its hat for as long as it sees fit?
Thanks (again)!
Peter

Q: Your opinion of the five single-stock ETF’s offered by Purpose Investments, generally and specifically. I’m thinking, in particular of replacing a small holding of the NEO-listed GOOG with Y-GOOG-NE. To complement a holding of GOOG (US).
Q: Can explain the rationale for YGR offering Flow Through shares at 2.54? Does this dilute existing shareholders?
Q: Can you comment on the quarter, would you buy here? or would buy QiPT at this time?
Q: Hi,

Q: Please provide an update on Equinor ASA and some comment of their recent moves acquiring more north sea oil exposure. I believe they also expanded holdings near Newfoundland.
Thank you, Doug

Q: Digitial Bridge is being sold pretty hard by another advising source, but their stock price is being crushed. I like their assets (digital infrastructure) but stock performance is lagging.

Q: Hi 5iResearch
These two names seem to be different series for the the same etf, right?
If I am right, why do they have different prices per unit and how could their dist, be different while both are having the same underlying securities?
Could you please advise if there are differences in risk?
Do VBAL and XBAL also have different series?
Please as many credit as the question requires.
Thank you

Q: Hi Team,
Can I have your comments on VEEVA Systems recent earnings? The street seems to be giving it some love finally. Also, what your current thoughts are on the company, future prospects and if it is a good one to keep holding long term for a play on healthcare and digitization of. Thanks
Shane.

Q: Hi 5i,
CTS in my TFSA has been a bit of ride. In mid 2021 I was way up but held on the premise that selling winners leaves only losers, and there weren't dark clouds on the horizon - at least not that I saw. Now I'm way down. It's been a big swing.
I was pleased to hear the rumblings about a possible sale of CTS, as I'm sure many others may have been, but that unrewarded optimism has now made me, and others too perhaps, feel disappointed and even manipulated - definitely not good investor sentiment.
I glean from your recent answers to questions involving CTS that you think it's worth holding and I'm willing to do that, although the opportunity cost of having that money tied up waiting for a CTS rebound frustrates me.
So my question is simply, what is there about the future prospects of CTS that makes it a hold right now, and if there isn't a real positive response to the upcoming earnings announcement would it be time to sell, or is that too short term a view?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Hi Folks,
I would like to add either APPLE, MSFT or VISA to my RRSP account for some growth to an otherwise relatively conservative account. I have a 10 year time frame. Which one would you recommend?

Q: Is THIS STOCK STILL BUYABLE?.
Q: I see you like CTS and would it be a good time to start a position now?
How are the insider positions? and have they been buying?
There where 3 deals delayed,is there any news about those deals?Might they have been cancelled all together after all?
You have any idea who could be possible candidates for a possible take over?
