In plain words , can you tell me what they do. An example of how they would assist a customer would help. Thanks. Derek.
DCM does do 'print' runs for marketing and company communication purposes, but it is transitioning into more of a marketing company. Managment did a similar turnaround with a marketing company called Pareto about 15 years ago that was hugely successful (it was eventually sold). So for a retailer, for example, DCM might print flyers, in store banners and other marketing material, but it will also engage with the client to ensure consistency across stores, track sales campaign success and ensure all data collected is useful. It offers central pricing and consistency (if a client has multiple locations). So, picture a food manufacturer launcing a giant sale, or a new product. DCM will help it print materials but also help with the launch/monitoring of the campaign, somewhat similar to an advertising agency's role, but more 'hands on' than just 'creative'. Prior to existing management sales were indeed declining, but the organic decline has slowed and with acquisitions revenue is now in high growth mode. In its last call it still expects you 5% organic growth, which is not huge but certainly better than a decline.
