Q: Crypto. As a retiree, I have stayed away from the whole bitcoin field, and from afar, have watched my nephews exulting in their current success. Even at my age, I am not immune to FOMO. I am not fearful of risk but have stuck to areas that have some form of business that I can wrap my mind around. Like NBIS, and Kraken, thank you very much. If I was to stick my toe in the crypto area, what approach would you suggest? I'm guessing an ETF but which one? Thanks for your ongoing advice, to me and to all your other subscribers. Using 5i guidance over the years, I have a decently performing, balanced portfolio, weighted with RBC, SLF, ENB, the Brookfield gang and the like. A dash of crypto? all the best

Q: I red recently an analysis which seems serious and documented and displays a pessimistic note (SELL) on this company, underlying amid other remarks, the very high evaluation of the stock with a multiple of forward PE 244.21 compared to the industry average forward 29.03. What to think? Please give me your appreciation and your own opinion on the subject.

Thank you very much in advance

Q: My question is about creating our RRIF portfolios.
Question 1: Country Allocation given US policy to depreciate USD, would you advise to OW CAD, 50-65% CAD allocation, 25-30% US and 10-20 ex NA [including EM]? What would you advise re allocation
Question 2: Please populate stocks and ETFs, with suggested target return that you consider achievable.
If you would, please suggest a few stocks that could give a boost to return in replacement of others.
Much obliged. I have 53 credits so this is important to me and prepared to use as many as you deem appropriate. Thank you.

Q: Good Morning,

Yesterday you responded to Mark on SBET. This stock has been nothing short or a rocket ship.

It is up 70% in the past week, 120% in the past month and 950% in the past 3 months.

I'm not quite sure how to ask the question, but how/when/why/ would you buy given the very recent performance mentioned above?

Q: Is it too late to join the party or is it just getting started? I am encouraged by the fact that MP owns the only vertically integrated rare-earth mining and processing site in the US, has the backing of the US gov't and seems to therefore have a monopoly outside of China. But I have no idea whether it's too expensive now. Thanks,

Jason

Q: I am trying to understand what I actually own with an ETF. My understanding is that I do not own the actual assets that it tracks but that there is a "fund" created to track the underlying assets that the fund provider does own separately in a much smaller quantity. So it seems that the "fund" may be infinitely expandable since it is not actually comprised of stocks. I am uneasy about things that resemble derivatives so wondered if you could explain more about how this works with index tracking etf's. Mainly, how is my investment secure if I don't actually own anything tangible? Thanks

Q: For a conservative investor, given the volatility expectations for the next few years, would you replace JEPI in the RRSP account with FT Vest Laddered Buffer ETF (BUFR)? As this is RRSP, only the total return (as opposed to income) matters. It appears that BUFR has outperformed JEPI in both bull and bear markets, and JEPI only outperforms when we have non-trending markets with low volatility. Your thoughts?

Q: I'd like to either start a 4% position in TRI or bring the other 4 positions up closer to 5%. Also I could just start a smaller position in TRI and bring the others up a bit, distributing funds across the names. If you could rank order these names, it might help me decide. As is, now MSFT and AMZN are quite small positions. Would any be affected by Tariffs? Just not sure how bullish you are on TRI vs the others. Thank you very much for continued great investment analysis.

Q: How significant is for BEP the recent contract it signed with Alphabet? The Market seams to like it with a +7% increase in the stock price but is it warranted?

Q: Hi, I'm thinking of initiating a position in one of these. Thinking of three plus years and the highest growth. How would you rank these in order, and please give a good entry/price. Please note that I just submitted a question but forgot to include DOL and GIB.A. Thank you.
