Q: I understand NVDA is putting 2Billion each into both COHR & LITE. I’m happy with COHR, up almost 400% now at a 5% weighting. Probably should start to look at selling some to keep the weighting down. Is LITE investable with its 220 P/E? One other question is NVDA getting shares for their 2 Billion?

Q: I have a question about alternatives to the 60/40 equity fixed income portfolio. Many years it seems that the fixed income portion is a large drag on the portfolio. What are other options that can provide balance to returns when equity markets tank? Does crypto currency and precious metal exposure provide some offset? What would be a reasonable portfolio exposure? Do you recommend any long short or alternative asset funds to replace fixed income exposure? Or, in your opinion is a well diversified portfolio with exposure to several industries enough diversification. I know everyone's situation is different, but I would like some suggestions for alternatives to fixed income exposure.
Thanks

Q: The sector rotations in the markets are wreaking havoc on my portfolio balance, mostly in a good way. The healthcare sector overall is down and the limited successes seem expensive. Also, the US government is pushing pharma to reduce their margins.
Do you feel that it is a good time to invest in healthcare and if so could you recommend stocks and etfs for broader exposure? For years, the etfs seem to have underperformed.
Q: With all the beaten down stocks that are assumed to be "doomed" by AI (i.e. SHOP, TRI, etc.) what are your top 2-3 buying opportunities for an investor with a 5+ year investment horizon?
Q: Knowing portfolio weights are personal to each.... If you held PNG in YOUR portfolio, what would be the highest weight YOU would be comfortable with?
Thanks
Q: Now that the WOOD PILE is getting bigger with once HIGH FLYING STOCKS, and the turtle moving utilities having a great year, how much farther with lower interest rates can these sleep at night stocks go.
Thanks Again
Q: I realize this is a high speculative gold exploration company that has just IPO’d but could you give me your thoughts on its management team, geological assertions and general thoughts on the company fundamentals? Its sounds like this part of Nevada has some positive gold and silver history.
For a small quarter position would this be a reasonable investment or this more of a “stay away” scenario?
Thanks for all you do during these tumultuous times!
Would you please comment the result and seem not that good. Does it relate to the new CEO? Please kindly advise the price to buy-in and the target price as well. Many thanks.
Q: what are your 2 favorite mid cap gold companies for risk and growth as of today.awhile back you gave me aris which i own as well as barrick and iamgold.dave
Do you think charting a 200 day SMA and 50 day SMA over 5 years continues to be useful or less so in these volatile times when it's challenging for a line chart to settle down?
Maybe connected, Is there a way of knowing how many individual retails investors are now trading as opposed to 6 years ago? i.e I am wondering if the many who started trading many small amounts for free are making the market more fickle and unstable? (If they still existed, I would ask my shoe shine boy if he had any stock tips!)
Q: With the increasing focus on the “space race” and ongoing defense spending innovations I am looking for promising investment candidates to take advantage of those themes.
Could you please provide your assessment of Redwire as an investment option.
Q: Hello Everyone at 5i!
What do you think is the long term prospects of Vertiv Holdings . I am up significantly and am thinking of taking a wee bit of money off the table.
Q: When I think about the large impact AI has had on these companies I can't help but think some contrarian thoughts:
> Even if AI can replicate some of the activities of the engineering firms, there is a lot of liability on these projects they work on which require human intervention / approval / oversight
> Companies would not have the requisite engineering resources in house to verify if what the AI is doing would be safe/reliable for large construction projects
> Infrastructure as a whole will continue to be needed especially if AI growth continues which reinforces the project pipeline
> AI can be used by WSP, STN in-house to lower costs and become more efficient so they could turn around projects faster or cheaper and reduce labour on projects
> Wouldn't AI also allow them to develop more insights/data which in turn could be used to better manage projects / highlight risks or use data to better quote (which in turn reduces losses) etc
I see AI as an enabler of these companies but not necessarily replacing them - maybe on the low-end side of their business where liability/risk isn't high but on big projects you would think working with an outsource 'expert' will still be required
