Q: I am trying to understand what I actually own with an ETF. My understanding is that I do not own the actual assets that it tracks but that there is a "fund" created to track the underlying assets that the fund provider does own separately in a much smaller quantity. So it seems that the "fund" may be infinitely expandable since it is not actually comprised of stocks. I am uneasy about things that resemble derivatives so wondered if you could explain more about how this works with index tracking etf's. Mainly, how is my investment secure if I don't actually own anything tangible? Thanks

Q: Hello, What are your thoughts on Well? I am considering starting a position..but I am worried about the increase in share count 100x from 2012 to present. Is this normal for a growing company? Compared to CSU this looks irresponsible..
Q: For a conservative investor, given the volatility expectations for the next few years, would you replace JEPI in the RRSP account with FT Vest Laddered Buffer ETF (BUFR)? As this is RRSP, only the total return (as opposed to income) matters. It appears that BUFR has outperformed JEPI in both bull and bear markets, and JEPI only outperforms when we have non-trending markets with low volatility. Your thoughts?
Q: The recent big and beautiful bill passed in the US planned to increase dividend taxes for Canadians. Is that still in place?
Q: Given all the positive news on new contracts to supply renewable energy, any idea of what the price target should now be for BEPC?
Thanks
Kim

Q: What are your thoughts on IBKR as it's stock price seems to be breaking out and over 1/2 its business is retail investors.
Hood has done "tremendous" as of late, do you think IBKR could be next to outperform?
thnx

Q: I'd like to either start a 4% position in TRI or bring the other 4 positions up closer to 5%. Also I could just start a smaller position in TRI and bring the others up a bit, distributing funds across the names. If you could rank order these names, it might help me decide. As is, now MSFT and AMZN are quite small positions. Would any be affected by Tariffs? Just not sure how bullish you are on TRI vs the others. Thank you very much for continued great investment analysis.

Q: Well happy days for all chip companies. With the recent about face and being able to sell "lower" end chips again to the Chinese market how do you see this playing out for these 2 companies and others? With NVDA hitting a 4trillion value without being able to sell in this market where could their valuation go from here in your opinion?
What percentage of the Chinese market did they have prior to the embargo that has now been lifted?
Thanks

Q: Everyone, as an example Brookfield has a number of companies under management. I assume CSU will be doing the same. How many companies under the same umbrella should you have. BAM and CSU are great companies with superior management but when is enough enough? Clayton
Q: Given the significant run up of CLS in the past year would you still consider this a strong buy right now, or would it be prudent to wait for the next "dip", or is it already over bought? Thanks.
Q: Having bough BX at its lows of this April in the low $120's, I am debating trimming and re deploying. Based on metrics; P/S, P/B, P/B and other relevant measures; is there still potential for a higher run up. Analysts have a slight downside rating.
Q: Could you provide some insight to the negative earnings market activity? NOI was up but EPS down, did not look all that bad?
Appreciate all your great help! Ted.

Q: I am interested in 3 growth ETFs....70 to 80% equities. A second question..what do think about investing some allocation in the military sector. If yes could you suggest 3 top stock picks and 2 etfs ( if available) Thank you
Q: Over the very long term, say 50 years or 100 years, longer if you know, what is the average return on the US and Canadian stock market including dividends? Say for the S&P 500 and the TSX Index. How have more recent returns, say over the last 10 or 20 years, compared to the very long term average? Do you expect the long term average to be a reasonable expectation for the next several decades or are there market forces at work that would tend to increase or decrease those expectations? I understand the last question requires a bit of guesswork.

Q: Previously had 3 U.S. ETFS for U.S. healthcare but haven't been happy about these.
Could you please suggest 3 or 4 U.S. healthcare companies that might work out for a 5 yr+ return. Please put in order of ratings and advise why you like them.
THank you

Q: Good morning
What is ATD's average Historical P/E ratio, say for the past 5 or 10 years?
What is the High and Low Historical P/E ratio, the range, during that time period?
Dividing ATD's current stock price of $69 by their reported net income per share of $2.72 yields a Historical P/E ratio of 25.4.
Am I doing what seems like a simple calculation correctly?
I ask because I am seeing a Future P/E ratio for ATD in the financial press of 17.3, which implies a large increase in net income compared with their last fiscal year, a decline in stock price, or some combination of the two,
How should one interpret this dramatic change in Future vs Historical P/E for ATD?
And finally, what is 5i's view on how expensive ATD's price is currently, compared with past history? Does 5i support accumulating ATD shares at this point?
Thank you.
Edward

Q: What are your thoughts on this stock now? Especially considering it's down 35% since beggining of the year, good time to buy or would you not recommend it?
