-
Restaurant Brands International Inc. (QSR $66.35)
-
Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation (BIPC $50.08)

Emera Incorporated (EMA $50.43)
Q: To receive US funds I have 23 shares of ABBV, 78 shares BIPC, 62 shares EMA and 74 haes of QSR in a US TFSA account with TD Webroker in Canada.
1. Since the witholding tax is not recoverable should I switch these holdings to a non-registered US account?
2. Though I like the US funds received as dividends, would it be more efficient to switch these to Canadian holdings for the tax credit and hold them in a non-registered Canadian account? please use as many credits as required.

Q: Brookfield Corporation just released earnings. Your thoughts on the results. Also, does anyone in the investment business write a clearer and better Letter to Shareholders than Mr Flatt?
Thanks

Q: thoughts on NBIS earnings?
Q: Last week you rated SHOP as a top growth pick among Canadian companies. The past 24 hours has been a roller coaster ride. After pretty good earnings and then the sell-off, do you still rate SHOP as one of your 2 top growth picks? I might suggest a quick report bringing all the information from all the questions into a single brief document. An overall assessment would be helpful as a lot has happened with their financials and the market reaction. Quite puzzling.
Q: Here is an enterprise which presents ver good results above forecast and its shares plummet in the markets (more than 20%! ). What to think and what is the perspective for the future of this enterprise and also for the investor who owns some shares? (I know there is not and automatic correlation between good results and appreciation of shares, but in this case the gap is so large...). I will appreciate your comments in this case
Thank you very much in advance

Q: Hi 5i Team - I have a small position in Super Micro Computer but am not sure whether to add to it or sell it and use the proceeds elsewhere. Could you provide an update on fundamentals, insider ownership and your opinion on its potential going forward over the next couple of years.
If I decide to sell, is there another similar company that might have better prospects.
Thank you.

Q: Hello,
In terms of valuation, which is the better choice, and also, is BAM much less risky than BN for a fairly conservative investor? It's been graphically much weaker than BN for some time.
thanks

Q: Good evening Peter and Team,
Lately, there's been quite a few questions about the current state of the markets. I'm reminded of the story of Bernard Baruch, who sold his stock holdings prior to the 1929 crash because he recognized signs of extreme market speculation and overextension. While popular legend often attributes his exit to a single encounter with a shoeshine boy giving stock tips, Baruch's decision was actually based on several analytical and psychological factors. Readers may ask AI to provide further information.
One day in July 2000, I was shopping at a Tip Top Tailors store and happened to overhear a store clerk giving financial advice to another customer. He urged the customer to buy Nortel stock immediately! As we know, Nortel's stock peaked at $124.50 on July 26. 2000, and last traded at $0.185 on June 26, 2009 when it was delisted from the TSX after its bankruptcy.
I appreciate your calm and rational approach, but must admit that I'm becoming more concerned, especially when great stocks like TRI are being so severely punished.
Your insights are always greatly appreciated.

Q: I’m down enough with TRI to consider selling it for tax loss harvesting. Would that be advisable? What stock could replace it for the requisite waiting period?
Q: What do you think of the latest acquisition of Kodiak? Would you initiate a position in this company or is the stock overvalued in your opinion. This is for a five year hold.

Q: Afternoon Troops. I own several pipelines, telecom and utilities stocks. I also own a decent sized position in ZWU. Is it worthwhile to consider rolling everything in the ZWU or is there an advantage in holding both the ETF and the individual stocks? Cheers.
Q: VST Would you please share your thoughts on this company.
I have owned TLN in the past, but VST has a lower P/E.
If there are others that you prefer, please advise.
Thanks.
