Q: Afternoon, do you know if any of the brokerages that took the share offering of Aug 15 have sold any of those shares? Is there any significance in that the share price is below the offering price of those shares?
Thanks a million
Q: Please tell what criteria you use to initiate and update a report on a specific company.
I don’t see a report on Exchange Income, why have you not done a report on it?
Thank you and good day
Q: When a company like Eif does a share offering does the brokerage house pay up front for the shares and then sell them to their clients when they want to? How is this procedure executed? Thank you
Q: Can you please give me you opinion on these companies as well as their financial status.
Would you consider CHE.UN a buy at these levels or what entry point.
What are your thoughts about the EIF bought deal that was just announced and would you think that this dip is a good buying opportunity?
Q: I've held this for 5 years and done OK, i.e. as in a safe dividend payer. Does this new offering weaken them? What are your thoughts on management? Thanks
Q: Good morning everyone at 5i! You have always said that you can’t time the market. I am going on the premise that the market is close to the bottom, and it is time to slowly start to add some names to the portfolio and to add to existing ones. Could you please suggest 5 growth and 5 income stocks ( US or Canadian) which you consider good buys at this point on time? Cheers, Tamara
Q: New retiree caught with pants down. Need to sell some stuff in RIF to cover current cash needs. Horrible position to be in with current market. Lesson learnt. Maybe (tough to be on the sidelines in a bull market)
Please help with sell sequence, which I guess should be based on which of these holdings is least likely to see near term growth from here OR which is most susceptible to further declines in near future??
Please list in order starting with the holdings you think should be sold first, ending with the holdings you think should be retained longest, and advise your rationale. All will need to be liquidated by mid 2023
Q: With the ongoing price swings and volatility, I am looking to add a couple good dividend stocks with a 3-5 year time frame. Can you suggest 5 Canadian stocks with decent dividends, and good upside price potential? Thank you.

Q: Northern Mat and Bridge was EIC’s largest acquisition. How do you think it will work out for the overall company in the long term? Will dividends increase more frequently now?
Thanks everyone
Q: hello 5i:
Recently, I asked about selling AC and moving the money to EIF. You were positive on this. AC has been sold, and though good earnings growth for EIF is projected, I've found that they miss Analyst expectations on all metrics (Earnings/Share, Cash Flow, and Free Cash Flow) as often, or more, than they hit them.
With that in mind, how much faith can I put in an Earnings Growth projection? Is there a metric I'm missing and should be looking at?
Is there and Industrial space company similar to this, but with a better record of meeting expectations?
thanks

Our retirement income portfolios are heavily weighted to higher dividend companies : banks, utilities, pipelines, telecoms, BIP and BEP, and CNR.
We are considering adding one or more of the following companies: PKI, EIF, NWC, SLF, TRP.
We would expect them to provide reliable increasing dividends plus some ongoing share price growth over the years.
Could you please indicate what order you would purchase them and maybe a comment or two on each for a very long term hold.
Thanking you.......... Paul W K.
Q: hello 5i:
today, would you sell (if already owned), AC; and buy EIF (not owned). Why or why not? Would there be 3 or 4 income stocks you'd prefer to EIF in the Industrial space?
thanks
