Q: Have funds in a US RSP account to top up one or both and underwater on both with the recent tech pullback. at equal 1.5% weighting. which has greatest upside over the next 2-3 years? Or, would you have a better US tech recommendation for this timeframe? Already own GOogle and Nvidia. Thank you.

Q: I have a full position of Fb and am thinking of dumping and taking advantage of other tech stocks that have sold off dramatically. Could you give some names that you think are near the bottom with lots of upside? Thanks

Q: As we move into 2022 I find myself looking for long-term trends that I can believe in and consequently feel safe to invest in. It seems to me that:
1. FINTEC
2. Cyber security
3. Payments
are three such trends. I'm curious if you agree with my three choices and if you do could you suggest a couple of companies in each trend that would be your favourites. Finally, are there other viable long term trends that you think I have missed?

Q: At this time, is APPS and CRWD similar in their risk/reward profile or is one preferred over the other; I see that CRWD's market cap is almost 10x that of APPS. Can you explain very briefly how APPS generates the majority of it's income.
Thanks!

Q: Hi folks. I am at a 47% loss in a registered account. It now is only a small percentage. Might it be a good idea to sell and circle back in about a year. What could be a better replacement?
Also January often tells us what kind of an investing year we will have as does the 2nd year of a presidency. What are your thoughts? It appears to be setting up for a tough year.
Thank you for your guidance as always

Q: Looking to take advantage of the pullback in growth names. The names above are standing out to me as companies that have been beaten up and 'may' offer a good short term bounce as well as long term potential. Is this a buying opportunity for those listed above? Are there other names you would suggest and could you rank them please? I am a fairly aggressive long term investor with an otherwise diversified portfolio.

Q: I have positions in APPS and CRWD which have seen significant declines recently. Would you shift into a large cap name like FB now?
Which ones of these would bounce the most in a recovery?

Q: Hello Peter,
I think of your investment style as growth oriented long-term investor. But at the same time, you have been a portfolio manager and adjusted portfolios to manage yearly returns as well. You have experienced and managed similar downturns as they go through corrections in a rising rate environment. I would appreciate your opinion on how to adjust the portfolio in the current environment.
With the US (and Canada) central bank expected to raise rates about 4 times, the dollar index should be strong? That should not be good for commodities, particularly for gold and silver. But then inflation is going to be high too. What does it mean for gold/silver stocks and how would you adjust the portfolio weight as of now; and the bias between large (AEM, FNV,PAAS) and small caps such as KRR, MMX and WDO.
And the growth stocks, in particular technology stocks- FAANNGS (including NVDA) and other very high valued stocks such as AFRM,UPST,CRWD, DOCU,ROKU,TTD etc. I feel they will rebound but not much. Would you hold them through to the year end or rotate into traditional financials, commodities, and cyclicals in the near term. If rotating, would you do it immediately? Would be grateful if you could include your suggestion for the individual stocks too.
Finally, the persistent downward drift of ATVI – am I missing something? Did we learn anything from the microsoft call yesterday?
I know this has multiple questions and you deduct credits accordingly. I am very interested in learning from you - how you would go about portfolio adjustments and beat the market come December 2022.
Regards
Rajiv

Q: I have a 1/3 position of TLS at $20, and at some point looking to add more exposure to the security/tech sector. Your thoughts on this, and recommended way of going about it? Maybe add another 1/3 of TLS, start a small position in CRWD, combination of both, or pivot elsewhere?

Thx again.

Q: good evening,

I have tax losses that I can harvest on these 2 companies but, I don't want to miss the boat if the market turns. What are the best proxies you can recommend or should I hold?

Thanks!

Q: I have TTD, PLTR, NVDA, PLTR, NVDA, CRWD, APPS, UCTT, CELH, AFRM, MTTR, UPST, VEEV, in my US account, and LSPD, SHOP, EGLX, TIXT in my Canadian (and holdings in other sectors, but these are the holdings in question). I don't need to sell anything, but don't have new funds to deploy in the low market. I had a lot of positions in tech going in and already thinking about consolidating the sector when the market turned. I wonder if you see anything that should be sold, and added to something else to maximize growth when the market turns good again, or if it is better not to shuffle at this point.
