Q: Hi 5i, can you give me the names of 4 or 5 large cap pharmaceutical companies that are buyable now. Also I'm looking for 4 or 5 Biotech companies with one drug in the market making money and maybe something in the pipeline that looks like it has a good future? for example TGTX.

Q: I'm up 24% on ABBV in my cash account - down almost 50% since Trump was elected. It is currently a half position. I also hold ISRG in the same cash account at a 1.75% position. Considering selling ABBV and investing proceeds in ISRG, increasing this holding to 4.25%. (My other health holding is CLBT at a 2.5% weight in my TFSA.) Given tax implications/risk, what would you do?

Q: I suppose this won't have been the first question on this company, but in case it is, what to do now with ABBV? Hold or Sell?

Trying to raise some cash in my non registered account. Reducing the number of stocks in the account. Currently have ISRG and ABBV as my health sector holdings and both have done well. I also hold ABBV in my RRSP. All things being equal, which one would you sell. Account is growth focused.

Q: I sold my full positions in APPL and NEE plus sold half my position in VERT this morning. I would like 2 good dividend payers with a growth metric, and 2 small/ mid caps for a 2-3 year hold.

Q: Have about $18.0 K U.S. that I would like to put to work for 30 to 40 months. Would appreciate suggestions - ETF or individual security. Sector not too relevant although, like most Cdn, investors, I am overweight financlals and resources. Keeping the funds in U.S., a mix of capital appreciation and reinvested dividends would be nice. Q: I'm looking for more momentum in the healthcare sector for the next 3-5 years, at least. I am a long term investor. I currently have ABBV and SYK but am thinking about moving on and buying LLY and ISRG as replacements. Are you still bullish on both LLY and ISRG, and do you think that such a switch makes sense in this market? Thank you!

Q: We have held BCE for many years in a RRIF account, generally for income (position size about 2%). Yes the dividend is great and likely to continue, but our position is now showing an unrealized loss close to 25%. I am thinking of selling and moving on to another opportunity that will provide better growth and returns. Comments please. Maybe the money is better placed in GOOGL, also in the communications sector? Or possibly into another USA dividend position? In our two RRIF's we hold ABBV, MSFT, PAGP, BTI. Rio Tinto, along with Canadian companies: MFC, WCP, BNS, TD, LIF, BIP.UN, AD.UN and USCL (for income). Growth may be a higher priority than income. Overall portfolio weightings for all six accounts combined is approximately 50% Canadian and 50% USA plus International. RRIF accounts are relatively small in value compared with non registered accounts

I currently own both LLY (representing 4% of portfolio) and ABBV (2.5% of portfolio) and I am thinking of selling ABBV and use the proceeds to buy more LLY. May I please have your thoughts on this and is this an advisable move?

Q: My health sector holdings consist of ABBV and IHI, both in a non-registered account. Neither have been stellar performers lately, but both are still up (ABBV by 28%, IHI by 50%). I have my eye on LLY, but the tax consequences of trimming or selling either ABBV or IHI are making me think twice. What would you do in my position? Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i, I have the following stocks (NVDA CSU LMN HPS.A BN XDIV RY CNQ JPM BRK.B VDY ENB) equally distributed in my rrsp, these stocks are generating 75% of my dividend-income goal. What changes would you suggest to get the last 25% , I do not mind selling my gold-stocks (the first 3) , but I would prefer to keep them. Hope it makes sense. Thank you 5i.
